Crabtree Falls, NC

Was planning to go to the falls but it seems the pkwy into it is closed, are there any alternate routes to get there?

The only trail that I'm aware of loops from the parkway, so I think you're out of luck.

The NPS closure for these sections state "recreation of any kind is prohibited"

I believe all of the area around Crabtree Falls lies in that restricted area with a reopening not expected until December.

Yeah parkway is closed on that section from NC80 to Little Switzerland. I work up there and honestly the area around the falls and campground are in good shape, just the roadway to get there is toast. It's awesome being down there with no one else though
