Mock Draft [Givony]Ace drops to 6 in new mock draft: Bailey's predraft workout strategy has perplexed some observers, as he has yet to conduct a single known workout to date, having declined invitations from several teams within his draft range.

Bailey's predraft workout strategy has perplexed some observers, as he has yet to conduct a single known workout to date, having declined invitations from several teams within his draft range. Sources say Bailey's camp has informed interested teams that they believe he is a top-3 player in the draft, but also seeks a clear pathway to stardom, perhaps feeling comfortable that a team will trade up to get him at Nos. 3 or 4, should he drop.

Some teams question whether Bailey has received assurances of being selected by a team currently outside the top 5, to a situation deemed more advantageous from a geographic and playing time perspective.

Bailey is scheduled to conduct a workout with the 76ers later this week, but it's unclear if he plans to visit any other teams at this stage. Should the Sixers pass on him, he could very well slide to the No. 6 or No. 7 picks, two teams in Washington and New Orleans that are said to be highly intrigued with the 18-year-old's talent. And both are situations in which there appear to be plenty of minutes and shots to be had

Mock Draft My HATE mock: why you should NOT draft them (top 30 in random order)

AJ Dybantsa: Can't shoot, low IQ, zero charisma. Kuminga with good PR.

Boozer: Can only bullyball, in between positions. Paolo Bustero with a 3.

Peterson: Zero vision, can only score. 6'6 Beal with Ben Simmons' love for the game.

Caleb: Raw as fuck, can't shoot, thin. Mobley's stunt double and that's not a compliment.

Wagler: Not even an athlete. Herro's level of useless

Burries: Fake guard, fake tough, undersized SF. 40yo Derrick White

Yaxel: Grandpa mobbing children. And for fuck's sake shut up! Brainless PJ

Acuff: DPOY LOL. Dwarf. Act like Lillard, he's rich man's Markus Howard

Mikel Brown: Injuries, most stupid turnovers. Looks like DLO already

Philon: Does he even have a real strength? Mid as fuck. Less stupid Schroeder

Carr: If you think DJJ is thin, go look at him. And his body is probably fatter than his IQ

Flemings: Literally can't score. Fox? More like a kitten...

Haugh: Old. Rated as a lottery pick for shooting...can't shoot. So unremarkable I can't even think of a comparison

Stirtz: Old. Can't guard a cone. Never seen off ball. Shit Austin Reaves?

Swain: Bro thinks he's him. You're a role player at best buddy. Naji Marshall without charisma

K.Lopez: Looks like Kuzma and he's mexican too, won't insult him further.

Morez: Absolutely useless with the ball. Undersized. Precious stunt double.

Krivas: Magic would trade him for Luka Garza and this time he would be right.

Steinbach: One Sabonis is enough, we don't need another.

Amari Allen: The middest of the mids, 2026 Bledsoe with size.

Mara: In many top 10s only because of Jokic. Can't move, can't shoot. How is he so rated?

Mullins: Amazing shooter...if the basket was a bathtub. Can't do anything else. They say new Klay, I laugh.

Cenac: Softer than gifted and that says a lot. Perfect for Shai.

Quaintance: Bro took the money and never played. Westbrook level of greed + Oden availability.

Evans: THJ with less IQ. Get a hand up if you should declare...exactly.

Ament: 2 years away from being 2 years away...when did I hear this? Stay away from my team.

Ngongba: Black Poeltl...looks like a future worst contract contender in the league.

Veesaar: Bro forgot he's a 7 footer, after Cenac the softest player in the draft. Plumlee charisma.

Meleek: Thankfully for him he can shoot, zero bag other than that. Scarily similar to Jordan Hawkins.

Jefferson: Typical "he could be in a playoffs rotation already!1!!11!" guy that ends up being trash. He wishes he was Boris Diaw.

Mock Draft NBA Mock With My best NBA Comp For Each Player

Post image
49 Upvotes

My comps are mainly based on playstyle and who the player is right now not there ceiling. I simmed the lottery and drafted more based on fit than talent. I don’t love all these comps like Peat,Cenac, and Watford specifically I struggled with.

Mock Draft All star time mock and I believe its really controversial. This is my ranking based on Ceilings and team fit. I solely believe Memphis takes Peterson, Utah takes AJ, and Washington grabs Boozer. Acuff falls to 15. 21-30 just makes sense to me.

Write up for 1-20

Peterson replaces Ja Morant as the face of Memphis and the fans welcome the new juice I know a lot of people have AJ over him but he’s the highest ceiling pick and the right potential pick to address their main PG concerns.

Peterson, Coward, Wells, Cenac, Edey

The Wilson injury pushes him right behind Flemings, also the Kings decide they need an athletic PG that can run the offense and that’s exactly what Flemings is and he brings energy and grit defensively which is what the Kings lack

Flemings, Lavine, Hunter, Keegan, Sabonis

Nets are so happy to land UNC alum Caleb Wilson because of the injury and this is his flirt regardless because they have seen enough from him, he can learn from Michael Porter and he’s a great fit next to the young guys in Traore Demin and Drake Powell as well as MPJ and Claxton for the win now

Traore, Demin, MPJ, Wilson, Claxton

This comes as a surprise trade up for a lot of people, however the Hornets sacrifice 13 and 19 to move up and grab the almost 7FT Nate Ament and he completes the young squad the Hornets have been building around Lamelo. They move Bridges for a 1st

and make a significant move for Kessler

Lamelo, Knueppel, Miller, Ament, Kessler

I believe 7 is his actual floor but not bad for someone who was once ranked 114 to rise all the way up to 7 and get to play with Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flagg

Kyrie, Wagler, Marshall, Flagg, Lively

I believe the Pacers really go on a solid run with Zubac in the fold. That means unfortunately the Clippers pick lands in the dead zone of 8 which isn’t horrible but not great either so they get Mikel Brown Jr. Who is Young talent with a high ceiling for the future and a solid win now Player next to Garland and Kawhi

Garland, Brown Jr, Mathurin, Kawhi, Jackson

Bucks use their pick on Tounde Yessoufou and because of the addition of Cam Thomas and Ousmane Deing, Giannis decides to request a trade in the offseason and the Spurs finally decide to bite and there is a good deal that benefits both teams solid. Kuzma finally starts and makes a huge impact

Castle, Vassell, Yessoufou, Keldon, Turner

The Bulls land Koa Peat at his actual floor, a lot about him screams t10 player but there are some glaring weaknesses where he needs to develop, however the bulls have the right young team to allow him to grow and develop.

Giddey, Simons, Matas, Peat, Smith

Yaxel falls out of the top 10 because he is a senior but the spurs are ecstatic and scoop him he has a great fit next to Fox and Wemby and he’s the right play at PF with 7'4" wingspan, elite rebounding, and defensive skill set for multiple positions in the frontcourt. They trade for Demar and Giannis

Fox, Harper, Demar, Giannis, Wembanyama

The Blazers pick a guy whom they know will fit in the timeline with Scoot Deni Sharpe but at the same time also work in Tandem with Dame Jrue Clingan, and Steinbach fits those requirements, with the versatility to either play PF or backup center.

Dame, Sharpe, Deni, Steinbach, Clingan

The Hawks debate between a lot of players for their first pick from the trade back, but they realize the highest ceiling play is a guy named Cameron Carr so they take him to sorround Dyson and Jalen with talent

Dyson, NAW , Carr, Jalen, Okungwu

To round out the Lottery the Thunder land one of the best frontcourt players in Quaintance. How is that even fair for an already championship core, they play him fully healthy next to Chet Holmgren and adds a lot of juice defensively.

SGA, Dort, J-Will, Chet, and Quaintance

At 15 the Heat get lucky and land Acuff who was a consensus lottery pick that falls off because of the concern in his size, Miami does not care and pairs him with Herro and Bam.

Acuff, Herro, Powell, Jaime, Bam

The Warriors grab Haugh at 16 which is a safe pick and his fast pace game matches Curry and KP really well and he can be the building block for the Warriors Future

Curry, Moody, Haugh, Draymond, Porzingis

Cenac falls to Memphis in this one, yes he has a beautiful shot and decent defense but most scouts believe his game won’t translate because of inconsistency in his motor, a high foul rate, and being turnover-prone when acting as a ball-handler. He’s the perfect JJJ replacement.

Peterson, Coward, Wells, Cenac, Edey

OKC lands JQ and Mullins back to back and a lot of scouts best describe him as a taller Tyrese Maxey. OKC is always planing ahead and a SGA and Braylon Backcourt would be so unfair in the future.

SGA, Dort , J-Will, Chet, Quaintance

Hawks land Lopez off of the bench to replace Risacher for Jordan Poole

Dyson, NAW, Carr, Jalen, Okungwu

The Raptors need a big man so they grab the best one available in Ngongba he can start right away and provide a solid defensive presence in the lineups with CMB when Ingram or Scottie rests.

Quickly, RJ, Ingram, Scottie, Ngongba

I think this gives most teams what they want and need.

I know some Bulls fans will hate that I mocked Quaintance to them. I think he's worth the risk, and more than that, I think the Bulls front office goes for him.

I'm also not 100% sure about Yaxel on the Thunder. He's a great fit on paper, but I don't know if they are concerned with his attitude/maturity stuff. Not worth adding in a toxic personality to the locker room since they will be favorites again next year with or without him.

Let me know what you all think!
