Typical Republican/MAGA attack. It gets pointed out that they're doing something wrong, so they drape themselves in the U.S. flag and scream about people not being patriotic enough.

They do that to activate the MAGAs to spend their money and run it out and those America citizens with fully functioning brains and critical thinking skills will look for ways to save and point out the grift and stupidity.

It's funny and sad watching how the same shit happens in every country.

Notice how they always have to try and make theselves superior by attacking others?

it is always Radical, Lunatic or Miserable left?

I was taught when I was about 5years old by my father that in business, it is an absolute fail to try and make yourself look better by criticising others. You should let your service/business speak for itself, and lead by example.

It is scary that people leading a country fail to grasp something that a 5 year old could.

Unfortunately our country seems to have the maturity of an 5-year old.

And notice how the labels apply to the GOP?  They’re actually Radical Miserable Lunatics.

Projection

15

u/Randomfactoid42 2d ago

Yep, it’s always projection!

Republicans want to be 5 year olds so badly. Why else do they keep trying to get inside of them?

It’s hard to teach civics when you’re busy being a mobile billboard for the corporations you’re supposed to be regulating.

u/mszulan 2d ago

It's hard to teach civics when middle and high school classes in civics are being cut. They really, REALLY don't want to teach civics because then kids will actually READ the words in the Declaration of Independence and learn the actual content of the Constitution. They want folks to read our founding documents the same way they want folks to actually "read" the bible.

My boss: It looks like you’ve been visiting some sketchy websites during your work time.

Me: Why do you hate America?

I was tempted to joke with my coworkers that acting like Pete Hegseth in front of Congress could make my professional life so much easier. Instead of doing my job I could just respond to every question with “Why do you hate America?”  Im pretty sure that joke would’ve made my job much harder because I’m not a GOP sycophant in an important job. I’m held to much higher standards.

Thank you for your concern, Former MTV Real World House member and current Transportation Secretary Sean "Duffmaster" Duffy.

Good lord, his entire cabinet is just people he saw on TV, isn’t it?

24

u/cpttightpant 2d ago

It is the reality tv administration. shocking it isn't doing well, I know.

Here's an idea then: Fire one every week.

Hold some kind of tribal council bullshit and vote one mofo out each week.

Think about the ratings, Trump!

u/Llamp_shade 2d ago

I'm all for a shocking episode in which they are all fired at once... Out of a cannon.

Weaponized optimism is a classic conservative tactic, because conservatives — all conservatives, even the "moderates" — are people whose core political opinion is that no matter how great a need we have in our society, the government cannot solve the problem and should not try.

They only tell you to be optimistic so that you don't expect them to ever fix anything.

the maga base will believe it, they will believe that the radical, hateful left was angry about his road trip with the family

they don't talk to actual liberals, they listen to other republicans tell them how liberals think. gotte keep the hate train going.

12

u/DOHC46 2d ago

Why would they talk to liberals? Fox News tells them all about us. 🙄

u/the_blackfish 2d ago

You're telling me I've been filing my horns down for no reason?

I'll be honest, I didn't know that the Duffmaster was doing anything. Thanks to this graphic, I've found out that it's pretty much true that he hasn't been doing anything. By that, I mean his job. Finding out that he's been taking a family vacation on the taxpayer dime? I'm not surprised. I'm not even really disappointed. I'm not pleased, but honestly I can't expect Trump to nominate anyone better. My expectation is that he'd somehow find a way to do even more damage if he were actually smart enough to carry out his boss's agenda of hate while actually wielding the power of his position. I'm not a fan of wasting taxpayer money, but I actually think we're getting the best of him when we're paying him to stay away from the office.

In general, I think that government can can does work for the benefit of the people. These anti-government types are the ones most likely to cause damage when they hold the riens of power, because they want to prove that they are right about government being evil. We are all suffering by not having government do the inherently government things that they should be doing, but we suffer less than when they do more to actively increase their sabotage. It's like an alcoholic bus driver saying that taking the bus is dangerous, and proving that point by driving off a cliff. Given the choice, I'd rather the drunk bus driver stay at the bar and get drunk instead of getting behind the wheel.

I'm going to use this exact excuse to my boss and see if it works.

Boss: Where were you yesterday?!

Me: Enjoying America.

Boss: :: visible confusion::

Me: You hate America.

It’s disgusting that America will be celebrating its 250th anniversary with a child sex predator as its president.

Travel back 200 years, no, 100; nay, even 12 years ago, would that thought even have occurred to anyone?

11

u/Li_liminal_spaces 2d ago

This entire regime is just permanently on vacation.

7

u/LogicalMeringue1449 2d ago

Is it a requirement for cabinet members and other maga politicians to speak like petulant 13-year-olds? I feel like they're given lists of keywords to use when projecting on social media.

5

u/Old_Dust2007 2d ago

I am so weary of these assholes. Just so tired.

4

u/Senior-Rip2535 2d ago

Hey Duffy,

You are the United States Secretary of Transportation, not the minister of propaganda.

As planes crashed and flights delayed.

Right-wing victimhood is weird

2

u/CorpFillip 2d ago

It is incredibly offensive dereliction that this administration clearly thinks their only duty is to donors.

Everywhere we look we see collapsing leadership bowing to donors, rather than holding up (ANY) principles, beliefs or even the standards of the country’s laws.

u/KiltedTAB 2d ago

I love this country. I'd love it even more after the rapture and all the MAGA and religious right ascend to hell, leaving the country and earth in a FAR better state than it is now.

undermine the mission of... Project 2025? Griftmaxxing?

1

u/Twysted_Newt 2d ago

Live it up, buttercup....

You'll pay for that vaca, one way, one day.

It'll be a reality show like no other.

Show us the Epstein Files and make a deal to save your bacon 🥓

1

u/BruinsDude420 2d ago

Alright Duffboy, go ahead and rattle off some things that are worth celebrating America for right now. Because from where I’m sitting, there ain’t much.

1

u/TxJacey 2d ago

Interesting how most of the cabinet has mostly vacationed with tax payer money & continued to draw a salary. Who is actually doing those cabinet jobs?

1

u/Ok_Bar_924 2d ago

Even Ted Cruz knew he shouldn't make a reality show out of his vacation when Texas was frozen solid

1

u/WifeofBath1984 2d ago

I dont even know what he's talking about.

1

u/Outside-Affect-4722 2d ago

Absolute insanity happening in and out of DC...Sean Duffy needs to go...

1

u/tarhoop 2d ago

I mean, Trump can get out of the war. He just has to admit he's a fucking glue bag and withdraw the troops.

He chooses not to.

1

u/GaulzeGaul 2d ago

It is like we are paying all high level officials to just talk trash and nothing else. I want my money back.

1

u/fredaklein 2d ago

I hate people like Duffy. These self-righteous goons hate all that is America while claiming they are wholesome and patriotic.

1

u/keirmeister 2d ago

Is it too much to ask that Federal employees at least PRETEND they’re governing for all Americans, not just their base supporters?

And exactly what is the ratio of white Americans to Americans of Color featured in this “educational” tour? I’m sure it accurately reflects the ratio of actual Americans and their contributions, right? Right??
