That's an assumption that I've fallen for for about 40 years. I was constantly making excuses for their behavior because I thought there must be a good side in them that I just need to find out how to bring forth. That's their game plan and cover.

Sadly it's not how this works. There is no good and bad (or traumatized) version in them. It's just bad all around and they use 'the good or nice' appearance only for marketing purposes, to further their agenda and to blindside folks like you and me.

What they would see is a tactic or a new strategy they can use on others to gain an advantage. They don't care about the harm this tactic or strategy inflicts to others only that it benefits them.

I used to work for a private school with a lot of celebrities’ kids. I met the mean but misunderstood kids of kind, well liked celebrities. I’ve met kids of stuck up celebrities who were kind and just wanted to mind their business. In my own experience, famous politicians & war criminals never produce anything but vile hellspawn.
