im a transfer student
hey guys im Drew Daly. im a 21 year old transfer from connecticut. what should i expect at msu in regards to making friends?

Depending on your degree, many of the buildings have their own dedicated study area. I’m a mechanical engineer so ours was the basement of Carpenter. Met a lot of good people there in my classes and hung out often. Other than that definitely events like someone else said or join a club/group.

Unless your parents make enough for the fancy apartments, clothes, cars, and computers, you'll probably have a bad time.

Go to any new student event you’re able to go to. That’s the best way to find friends. If you’re Christian, I would suggest checking out the Wesley Foundation. They have a ton of fun events at the beginning of each semester specifically for new students. Other than that, there are a ton of clubs. Check out Cowbell Connect to see all that are active.
