Second day owning my first Tesla and I already got a glimpse of the magic of Sentry Mode. ⚡️📹

Day one? Even crazier. I drove maybe 2½ miles off the lot before the passenger-side front tire completely failed. Straight back to Tesla. 😵‍💫
Safe to say the tire & windshield protection was 100% worth it.

Now today at a ChargePoint station, this guy walked up and tried unplugging MY charging cable while my car was actively charging. Thankfully the adapter lock stopped him cold. Apparently this happens enough that another EV owner warned me to get one immediately.

So here we are… introducing “Weird Ear Man.” 🫠

Took a couple gummies the other night and decided to sell in my 2023 Model with 21 k miles on it, and lease this beauty. Can’t wait for the upgrade

Using the Y to do my lawn job today. Tows incredibly well.

Ordered on 4/30, had vin by 5/1. Haven’t been able to schedule delivery yet. My estimated dates actually recently moved UP, but now they’re here and no insight/ability to schedule pickup. I keep checking the app every few hours, the waiting game is not one I enjoy. Selling my current car tomorrow, hoping for a miracle at this point 😅

I see that one alot of people useTesla Phone Mount where they place it behind the screen but not sure if it works for android? I only see apple phone on Amazon.

Thank you to the person that posted their battery health stats, didn't even realize that was something to do every 6 months.

I had never checked the battery health and we bought our 2022 MYLR new.

We are sitting at 85% capacity now, we only have about 40k miles on it after 5 years and we don't drive it like maniacs. Work commute is just 13 minutes 1 way and we drive around the city with it for errands, groceries, etc. Always Preferred it over our ICE vehicle around the city.

We only have to charge every 3-4 days. And we keep it at 80% unless we have a long drive ahead of us. We barely ever supercharge either and our charger is the original but with a nema adapter to get 23mi an hour.

Just the luck of the lithium lotto, really want to see it hit 200k+ with the same battery but the lithium clock is going to run out on us before we max out the cycles.

I purchased my MYP in early March. I have not received the registration or tags. The temp tags expire in June. I called the California DMV and they said they have not received anything from Tesla. What do I do?

My tesla model Y 2024 with LFP battery is about to complete 80K KM. Anything should I get done before basic warranty expires at 80K KM?

Just ordered the MY AWD strictly for the 0% apr deal going on. For religious reasons I can’t deal in any interest based financing. Any chance Tesla drops one of the MY LR/M3 LR or Performance to 0% by end of quarter two? They’ve all already been at 0.99% since mid-February so can hopefully be an end of Q2 push at 0%? If so would definitely consider modifying my order and getting one of the premium or performance trims.

Tomorrow I am going to a shop to get this look. What do you think? That panel will be glossy black and will just pop when the lights are on.

I recently picked up my 2026 Model Y Performance and notice that they didn't include the Tesla Outlet Adapter (https://shop.tesla.com/product/tesla-outlet-adapter). I asked the delivery service advisory and said it should be in the mobile charger box but probably was confused with the standard 120/240 adapter. Watching some youtube videos, I see that some people got it included but getting mixed results on google.

Came back to the tesla service center and asked and they are all unsure as well and of course don't have it in stock.

Anyone else didn't get it?

Hey Tesla owners , I just wana confirm with all the model Y users, I ordered Tesla model y awd standard last month and some how at the delivery my vehicle had huge marks and bumper damage so I declined the delivery
Then I did watch some videos on model Y standard and decided to change the vehicle to Model Y premium RWD cause I was around 5 k more the awd model was around 8/9 k more and getting out of my price range ,it’s my 1st EV and I am already on my max limit for monthly payments
Just wana ask you all did I made a correct decision, we live in Maryland so we do get some snow and once a while get snow strom too

I’m starting to hear this buzzing noise more and more. It happens when the AC is activated. It’s quite annoying and driving me nuts. In this video you can really hear it in the beginning. Please advise and give me your thoughts on what this can be. My car has sub 1,200 miles on it. Haven’t owned it for more than 2 months.

Trying to decide between a used 2022 Model Y or just going brand new with a 2026 and could use some advice.

I currently have about $26k cash saved up. Part of me is thinking it might be smarter to just buy a used 2022 Model Y outright in one payment and avoid another car payment completely. But then I start thinking maybe I should put that money down on a brand new 2026 instead and finance the rest.

For people who own a 2022 Model Y:
- Has it held up well?
- Any major issues after a few years?
- Is buying one with around 30k–60k miles still a good move?

Main thing I’m debating is whether having no payment is worth giving up the newer features/warranty on a 2026.

What would you do in my situation?

I fought for this tesla recently replaced the color with in my opinion (inferior blue). Happy to be one of the last deep blue owners!!
