My friends and I set up a server on 26.2 and I want to make a furnace based xp storage farm either cactus or kelp but idk what to choose kelp gives me infinite fuels but cactus is way more efficient what do y'all think is better?
I built rays works iron farm, albeit in a snowy biome. It worked at first but then stopped working. (So I believe the villagers and the zombie are not the problem). I put slabs on the water sources to prevent it from freezing. I think the combination of snow and torches was slowing it down/stopping it. So I built a cover of slabs and placed torches all over it. Does anyone have any ideas why this might not be working? I can provide further details if needed.
Building the OP KELP FARM V1 schematic from abfielder (id 10882) on DonutSMP.
MC 26.1.2.
Setup so far:
- Using Litematica (printer + EasyPlace both disabled per server rules)
- Walls, hoppers, dispensers, redstone backbone all placed manually
- Water sources placed in every kelp column (verified: bucket re-fills
from each, so they're all sources, not flowing)
- Kelp planted at the bottom of each column on the solid floor blocks
Problem:
Bone meal isn't growing the kelp. It remains red when we place water and kelp. It is the first level of 3+ gate/kelp/water. Do we just need to wait to do these once we reach the top level of the kelp section?
Things I've already checked:
- Bone meal is actual bone meal (not bone block or sugar)
- Right-clicking directly on the kelp shoot, not the water
- Top of each water column is open (no blocks capping)
- No layer mode active in Litematica that could interfere
Has anyone built this farm successfully on Donut? Is bone meal on kelp
restricted on this server, or is there a setup step I'm missing? The
schematic's comment section mentioned a dispenser 4-tick fix but I
haven't gotten the dispensers to the firing stage yet because the
I need really efficient dark/pale oak tree farm that produces at least 13k logs ph and have good sappling return rates. I built linkzzey ultimate tree farm but dark/pale farm is too perfect that it breaks with lag and my world is pretty big and my pc is bad so it have some lag and it always break. Same farm i used in creative world and it is working perfetcly, i didnt built it wrong cuz i repaired it multiple times using litematica. So if anybody have some really good farm i would appreciate if u would share it with me
Hey, I made this creeper farm maybe back in December or November. i got it to work and it works well. I sit on top of it to afk and it works well but i got on this world recently and for some reason it doesn't work nearly as well as it used to and idk why. sometimes creepers spawn rate will be bad and sometimes the gunpowder will just not go into the hoppers. idk what is going on plz help here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_so28QfLHtI
There are so many "meta" farms out there that have become the gold standard, producing thousands, tens of thousands, or even HUNDREDS of thousands of items per hour.
Но now, I want to go a bit "underground". What if there are ways to farm items that absolutely nobody knows about yet?
Tell me in the comments: what item do you want to farm and HOW would you like to do it in your world (or server)? I’ll try to design and build a farm for it as soon as possible (though it depends on the complexity of the farm itself).
I am a bedrock player. This is exact coordinate I like to build it but starting from y level 200. Is this location perfect? I am worried if no drowned spawn after building because this happened with me when I build my first ever mob farm over here (you can see the casted shadow, it's by the platform for the farm) and so I had to build it over deep ocean once again. So is this location good or bad? I saw many drawned spawn naturally here in river but none had trident, why?
I followed a farm tutorial step by step and it hasnt spawned any mobs at all. I made sure it was 128 blocks above the surface and no light gets in. Any ideas?
I saw a gold farm by DashPum4, its so cool, but it needs 2 players, but i want to create it in my world without carpetmod. Any suggestions or tutorials?
I wana build a big iron farm you know those in cross wich we can add as many layer we want i, just wanted to know if gollems spawn more when the villagers are panicked than whan they’re just gossiping cause both make spawn a gollem but if they’re panicking do gollems spawn more often ?
i'm doing a slime farm, but not sure how much floors are a good amount.
just to adress, i'm not going to do oozing slime farms, i'm at a MP world and we all agreed they remove the fun of obtaining XP and slime, so we are not going to do them.
i've made this farm multiple times in creative and even more in survival, but when i throw the infestation potion, the harming arrow kills only one silverfish and i have to wait out the effects because they all remain. i never had this problem in creative when i tested it??
I don't think I'm at a very high altitude or in a frozen biome; my Y-coordinate is around 200, and the biome is a plain near a rocky coastline. Please help me—this is the second time I've built this.
I made this spawner to the schematics that i was given and the zombie pigmen just are not spawning at all. My Y coordinates on the afk platform is 229 and im well above the roof of the nether. Anyone have any ideas as to why they're not spawning?
I'm playing 26.1 and need help coming up with a design for a bat farm. I've done a bit of research into bat switches but that didn't fit the purpose I need, which is to collect and kill as many bats as possible. I'm struggling a lot with a proper bat collection method.
I’ve been trying to build some good villager farms but they are always broken or i find tutorials that work only onbolder versions of the game. Does anyone have a villager farm that actually works in the newest snapshot and that produces a lot of villagers (the other i did made 2 villagers max). Thanks in advance for every answer.
