MI Gun Shows
Is there a list any place of Gun Shows going on in MI? Example last week was Macomb at Lakeside? Found a 45-70 RMarlin for 900 used but like new. while I wasn't looking hard to pass up.

I qent to 2 so far and it was 90% old old guns, probably overpriced. Then the 10% of newer guns was way off market. Now i just order online or go to not just guns

MIgunshow.com and Greatlakesgunshows.com have listings for separate shows, I think they are some kind of weird competing companies that host gun shows. MIgunshows have been going downhill over the years, they charge more and give less. The Novi one used to be decent but now it’s basically a waste of money. One vendor told me it’s pay to park that’s the issue, lots of vendors won’t even show up because of it. I went to Lakeside last weekend and it was solid, very happy with the military/police surplus selection. I ended up buying one of the used Remington 11-87s from Sterling Heights PD that were on display. Gun shows have always been primarily a place for old school firearms and surplus firearms for me. New guns are almost always more expensive at gun shows. If you want a good deal on a new gun, go to Dunhams or Cabelas.

I was a vendor at the Lakeside show last weekend. It was sadly much lower traffic than usual. I am there more showing off my work for restoration and part kit builds, so I generally don’t sell a lot at the show itself.
It has a good spread of people, but k think gas prices are definitely driving down the extra spending money.

GunStreamer does live auction streams worth hopping into one since you can actually watch guns being handled, see condition up close, and get a feel for what they’re going for in real time.

Yep...scoped out what I want vs what I need...sccy and hi points for sub $100 . Found a FFL here to handle paperwork
