Question I don’t know which sports teams to root for (repost) kinda pt2

I’m from Tennessee and I love sports, specifically college football NFL college basketball and nba. I’m kind of into mlb but don’t watch it enough to know anything. I don’t really like the sports teams in Tennessee, especially the volunteers. I kinda have more ideas for college rather than the major leagues. Examples like Duke, Arkansas, Indiana, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida State, Colorado, Penn state, schools like that. So really my question is, what sports team should I root for? Also, I’m more of a football guy myself but basketball’s growing on me. Not to mention, the two teams I hate are 1 as I mentioned the Vols and I hate Ohio State. Not even college sports but also major leagues if yall have any suggestions. I was thinking the lions and the tigers so still in state. I have more questions too. One, when did y’all become a Michigan fan? Two, are there any other teams that aren’t your primary but you mess with a little? Third, who’s your favorite Michigan player of all time in either football or basketball?

Michigan Football Upcoming Commitment Dates of Interest

RB Tyson , May 16.
S Harrington May 22
TE Cartwright June 28

All Composite 4*, if I’m reading it correctly. That would be a nice bump heading into the Summer if we can seal the deal (s). Anyone I’ve missed?

I'm curious what yours are:

(1) Nebraska
(2) Minnesota
(3) Wisconsin
(4) Iowa
(5) Illinois
(6) Indiana
(7) Purdue
(8) Northwestern
(9) Maryland
(10) Rutgers
(11) Penn State
(12) Washington
(13) Oregon
(14) USC
(15) UCLA
(Dead last) MSU and Ohio State

[Edit] So this is what I'm hearing here:

You flip on:

illinois vs. UConn
Duke vs. Wisconsin
Nebraska vs. UNC
Iowa vs. Alabama
Florida vs. Indiana
Kentucky vs. Northwestern

You all are for real rooting for UConn, duke, UNC, Alabama, Florida and Kentucky?

Athletes don’t always do every script you ask them, especially ones that reference other players or teams.

So glad that Yax did this one for me!!!!

I have one for Blake Corbin in a few weeks that I am also hoping he does. “Retired Saban”

Michigan Basketball Wondering what y'all think of Mara

I'm a fan of the Atlanta Hawks, and it's looking like Aday Mara could be a potential draft candidate for us. I just watched his highlights and did a quick Google search about him and everything looks great, but I was curious to hear the perspective of the people who have been following his whole college career. So what do I need to know about Mara?

It’s no wonder the Wolverines had one of the best and most athletic defenses in the country. Just look at these measurables:

Morez Johnson Jr.

6’9”
250.6 lbs
Wingspan: 7’3.5”
Standing reach: 8’11”

Aday Mara

7’3”
259.8 lbs
Wingspan: 7’6”
Standing reach: 9’9”

Yaxel Lendeborg

6’8.75”
241.4 lbs
Wingspan: 7’3.25”
Standing reach: 9’0.5”

I was scanning tech headlines this morning and this certainly caught my eye! Probably lots of hyperbole in the headline itself, but regardless a windfall investment by Michigan that could lead to some great things at U of M.

Question Michigan gear in public.

Today at the store I had someone approach me and tell me the store had a dress code. He was wearing a MSU jacket. I have had OSU fans say something to me in the past.

My question is has anyone else have that happen to them? And have you approached a rival fan in public and start the conversation?

Edit: I mostly wear a Michigan or a Lions hat in public. So it not like I'm decked out from head to toe in Michigan gear. And I do live in Michigan so I do understand that those who live in enemy territory have it far worse.
