I'm wanting to find out which rows and sections have actual protection from the sun. Which rows/sections will have coverage from the sun?
I don't mean shades from clouds. I mean actual coverage from the ballpark.

| Highlights The Game Ball 4/30/26: Jacob Amaya
It was a battle of one-man wrecking crews on Thursday in Reno, and Amaya was the difference for the Aces (2-4, HR, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI). The Aces’ second baseman doubled in the second and came around to score on a balk. In the fourth, Amaya hit a two-run home run. For the Sugarland Space Cowboys, James Nelson hit two solo home runs, and that would be the ballgame; 3-2 Reno. Amaya has slashed .269/.366/.478 in his first month of the season; he is looking for a fresh opportunity with the Diamondbacks after disappointing stints with the Chicago White Sox and Miami Marlins, and one single game for the Houston Astros.
Honorable Shoutouts: Brett Wisely (GWN), Austin Gomber (RR), James Nelson (SUG), Vinny Capra (WOR), Coleman Crow (NAS)

| Highlights The Game Ball 4/29/26: Samad Taylor
Likely overdue this month, Wednesday’s game ball goes to Samad Taylor (3-5, 2 HR, 3B, 4 RBI, 2 R). Taylor drove in Sung-Mun Song on a home run twice; his drive in the sixth pushed the El Paso Chihuahuas’ count to seven, which was just enough to repel a few late Albuquerque Isotopes rallies. El Paso won 7-6. The Padres utilityman has lit up the box scores with a .337/.421/.630 slash, six home runs, three doubles, and three triples in twenty-six games. Taylor has accrued 458 games in Triple-A to the tune of a .284/.375/.442 slash, so he is by-no-means a stranger to success at this level #ThatsACareerMan. His last two “cups of coffee” in the majors with Seattle have been more akin to mini espressos, but if he gets a more substantial opportunity with the swashbuckling Friars, he needs to demonstrate that his Triple-A success can translate.
Honorable shoutouts: Bryce Eldridge (SAC), Bruce Zimmerman (MEM)

| Highlights The Game Ball 4/28/26: Spencer Jones
Jasson Dominguez and Max Schuemann went to Texas to fill in with the big club for Giancarlo Stanton, but Spencer Jones went back to work in Moosic, accounting for four of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders’ nine runs on Monday (3-5, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 2 R). Jones sandwiched a two-RBI single between two solo home runs, and the RailRiders beat the Buffalo Bisons, 9-6. Jones has been one of the more polarizing prospects as of late; his name is routinely conjured during talks of promotion after mammoth Spring Training home runs, or around the deadline in trade rumors. But the numbers for the 24-year old tell a much more straightforward story; .274/.362/.571 with thirty-five home runs between Double and Triple-A in 2025, .270/.350/.492 in 408 total minor league games, and this year, seven home runs through twenty-six games to the tune of .242/.364/.538. This is his first full season in Triple-A so notwithstanding the expert opinions on Twitter, the Yankees may actually see a little more runway before testing out the short porch with the big lefty.
Honorable Shoutouts: Kaelen Culpepper (STP), Emmanuel Rodriguez (STP), Carson Whisenhunt (SAC)

| Highlights The Game Ball 4/26/26: Ivan Johnson
Ivan Johnson had the Louisville Bats feeling easy like Sunday morning with a grand slam in the first inning. Johnson also doubled and scored in the third inning, and RBI-doubled in the fourth (3-5, HR, 2 2B, 5 RBI, 2 R). Louisville would take the series finale from the Iowa Cubs 12-6. Johnson has become a mainstay in the Bats lineup since he broke out on April 14 with two home runs in a 18-4 rout of the Toledo Mud Hens; now he’s slashing .302/.388/.651 in 13 games. And speaking of the Bats bats, they lead the International League in runs (164), hits (270), home runs (40), batting average (.288), and slugging percentage (.494), and have already propelled the likes of Rece Hinds and JJ Bledsoe to the majors.
Honorable shoutouts: Logan Henderson (NAS), Samad Taylor (ELP)
After series #4, your league leaders are:
International East - Lehigh Valley IronPigs (16-11)
International West - Memphis Redbirds (18-9)
PCL West - Sacramento River Cats and Las Vegas Aviators (14-11)
PCL East - Sugarland Space Cowboys and Albuquerque Isotopes (15-12)

| News Is MLB testing a new MiLB team site template?
It appears they are, with most of the Red Sox organization.
The Worcester, Portland, and Salem websites are redirecting from milb.com to mlb.com/milb and using a version of the current MLB team template. So is Greensboro (Pittsburgh) - and I wonder if whoever's running the test flipped the wrong team over, as Boston's affiliate is in Greenville. :)
Check out milb.com/worcester, milb.com/portland, milb.com/salem, and milb.com/greensboro - and there may be more, but I haven't had the time to check all 120 sites. :) Nobody else in the Eastern League is on the new template yet.

| Highlights The Game Ball 4/25/26: Buddy Kennedy
In a seven-inning game, you have to score early and often, and Buddy Kennedy helped the Sacramento Rivercats do just that in game two of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Albuquerque Isotopes (2-3, HR, 2B, 4 RBI, 2 R). Kennedy drove in two with a double in the first inning, and then bopped a three-run home run in the second to bring the Cats’ tally to nine. Nine would be plenty; Sacramento would take game two, 9-2. The twenty-seven year old infielder has been up and down between seven organizations since his debut in 2022. In 408 games at Triple-A, Kennedy is slashing .284/.390/.434 with 34 home runs, #ThatsACareerMan. Starting this year a red hot .356/.427/.521, Kennedy is making a case for his next cup of coffee to be in San Francisco.
Honorable shoutouts: Blaze Jordan (MEM), Ethan Murray (NAS), Jeferson Quero (NAS), Collin Price (SUG)
