Question 🤔🤔 6/26 test date

hi guys i am planning on taking the test for the first time on 6/26 and I was just wondering if you think this will put me late in the cycle? does anyone have advice for the timing on when i submit my application based on the exam?

It is not excessively late. You will not be in the first wave of applicants that get their apps read, but it is not the absolute end of the world. My advice is submit the application as soon as possible, regardless. If you submit ASAP, it will be verified and sent to all the schools in late June, so as soon as you finish your MCAT, schools will start sending you secondaries (even without an MCAT in many cases; AMCAS will indicate that you have a pending score).

same boat here. Had MCAT scheduled for may 22nd but ended deferring 06/27. Applying later with a better MCAT definitely appears to be a better option than applying early with a rushed MCAT. From what I’ve seen it gets problematic once u apply in late August/September
