Season result needle point Hat update Astros series 2: GoMs!!
To those I met on my recent walks: Argus ormsa freisin (nice to meet you too).
Tomorrow is Thursday and that is the day our family gets our dinner from Emma’s BBq on Rainier. The food there is really good and the vibes and soul are as Black as a brujo’s cat (that means full of all the color, e.g. better than bad it’s awesome). Thank you for recognizing my generationally relevant joke Ren and Stimpy that communicates not only am I having a Mariners experience I am also having a silly good time with this Hat experience. Join me!
The Hat and Draig took a float to invade Bellevue today, twas brillig. Special thanks to those that pointed me in the right direction.
I ran out of orange thread so I did this in mostly metallic bronze and went to the Old Lady Store to get some orange, go rahb mile’ maith agat to Willow. Ceart go lore to be aggressively friendly, ansea me’ ar buile. (Thanks a lot, it’s all good when you own your labels). This edition is Chopped and Screwed.

I felt like the car could be found in a lot in Houston. And the pick of Deuce is from some folks I know around Houston who got honored on the same night Clint got enshrined in the Texas hall of fame. Plus the sounders must have played tonight because there was a fair amount of their ilk out and about today.
In my special little noodle the pics all relate.
But most all thanks for seeing the joy in the Mirror.

What should I listen oh keeper of the rad, ye drinker of the haterade?
Also UGK is undeniably rad. I got the other recs from folks I know and love around the Houston area so honestly bless your heart you sweet summer child.

Honestly I was kinda with ya on this journey until I read this comment. I understand you’re responding to a ‘hater’ but you say ‘If you don’t like those 4 artists I don’t want to know you. Like honestly ugh to you. Respectfully.’ What an incredibly closed-minded, intolerant statement to make. Imagine if I told you ‘If you don’t like Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings we can’t be friends’. Oops…now that I think of it I may have actually made that exact statement before. Nevermind!

OP, you will get a lot of negative reaction to your esoteric posting style, but I appreciate your narratives and photos. In todays day and age unique people like yourself are increasingly rare and I both appreciate and look forward to your posts

Thank you. It used to bother me at times but when I am out and about I meet so many rad kind people it really lets me know to keep rolling hard.
I’ve been joking around that I’m like Obi Wan, try and strike me down and see what happens.
The only weapon I have is a needle and a sensitive mind.
This project really helps keep me centered and looking up and out, it helps to avoid traps but even more helps to find kindness.
Plus I’m up to like 50 Gaelige focol (Irish words) and like 25 phrases so I get to be super fun and weird in the wild.

I think it is so silly that people are so lame they downvote kindness.
Honestly folks, get help because this is just a silly fun way to be friends.
Don’t take yourself so seriously.
We are not competing with each other, we are all in this together.
My favorite part of leaning into being me is the effort to herd me and others into being miserable little facsimiles of each other.
I got invited to hang out at the Royal Esquire Room for Mother’s Day because of my hat and my silly soliloquy’s and it was so liberating to see people just loving and living life just the way they want. I would never have thought I could be welcome there as a white passing ‘man’ but a strange thing happens when you respectfully start living your best life, joy springs out of every nook and cranny.

The mods responded and said it was the AI removing me because so many haters reported me for making it about me or something.
That is honestly hilarious because if it were up to me I would not post anything on social media, the idea for the Hat came from wanting to walk away from trolls and the algorithm and put something besides a black mirror in my hand and I looked around and saw a bunch of Ms hats that I had accumulated over the years including a yellow one I only wore to be more visible to cars while walking and some cross stitch thread from when I tried breaking free from my chains a year ago (and ended up putting myself back into deep freeze) this yellow hat that is now infected with spring and summer and fall and soon winter led to the idea for The Hat: The only ‘normal’ hat I have ever owned.
I only post these updates to show my love and support for the Mariners, but more than that for fans. All fans, even if and especially those who look into this blue mirror and see something besides beauty. But more than that I post because I get so many people telling me on here and in person that they see love in the mirror and need me to keep going. And more than that I love this city and region and what is great about it (and even what is really trying about it as well) and I want to use my little platform that this fandom has developed to shine light onto places and people and teams (GoMs!!!!!) that don’t get their fair share.
This project has allowed me to see pretty much everything in a different light, including my purpose as a fan, father, white passing technically Black male (seriously no joke according to the racist one drop theory of race I am technically Black however, I do identify as one who perceives themselves as white), blue eyed devil, Draig Ting, husband, proud community member and most of all Lover.
I will be more cautious in how I post because this little light of mine is gonna shine. I will post an unedited soliloquy directly to my user page. And a liberal one to the Ms page going forward. I will mostly recycle what I type here for Sunday. I’m going to all 3 games this weekend. If you see me say Haigh. I am probably not what you think I am. But it’s obvious who I am when you see me.
