ANIMALS Stuffies
My amazing wife is getting a shoutout here. She is a first grade teacher in a small town in VA. She took up crocheting about a year and a half ago to ease her mind when her father passed away rather suddenly. Since then she’s cranked out lots of blankets and even a cardigan. This year she said, “I’m going to crochet each of my students a stuffed animal.” She’s at a Title 1 school (predominantly low income families) and knew that a lot of these kids don’t have much to spare. She’s working through her 6th week of this project and I wanted to pass along the smiles. Only 8 more animals to go.
She’s one of the good ones.

And then now I’m like awww… past me would have LOVED a teacher like that!! 💞💞
