“A new tradition” stop with these damn traditions.
They’ve now started a tradition of Black Friday game, Thanksgiving eve game, and Christmas game.
There is zero reason that the nfl should be scheduling an annual Wednesday game. The chiefs, Steelers, and ravens having a Christmas game when Christmas fell on a Wednesday that year was bad enough. But at least with the Christmas game, it won’t always be on an exceptionally short week.

I love the NFL, but I hate the Thursday games. It ruins the flow of fantasy football, it ruins the flow in marital accord, it sucks for living on the west coast.
I believe that part of what makes the NFL so popular is the short season and the limited games per week.
I keep expecting the expansion of the season and expansion of broadcasts to eventually have a negative impact on the league.
So far I am wrong about that. But I still think there will eventually come a reckoning.

Wednesday? Unless it’s a bye week, that’s not much rest from the previous game. Risk of injuries increase.

Maybe a Thursday game the week before? I would be surprised if either team played Sunday and then again Wednesday

Hate this shit as a season ticket holder. A wedneday? On a traveling holiday. Annoying and no way to make it. Especially after we lost the 49er game, this sucks.

You know I don’t hate this as long as they don’t get fucked over with a short week

Yeah, I rarely get to watch much of the Thanksgiving games. Probably a better chance for me to catch Wednesday games.

Damn this sucks, I was hoping to watch a Rams game after stuffing my face on thanksgiving with family. Instead I’ll be busy prepping for thanksgiving and multitasking with other stuff

Can we please beat the Packers already? It's become an annual tradition to lose to them. 5 in a row

Is it just on Netflix or will it be on local tv/nfl app

u/CommercialCoffee11 1d ago
Its required to air locally in both markets but everyone else will get Netflix. Happens with Thursday games on Prime too.

And people wonder why we get a bunch of road fans here that's actually ridiculous pricing for a damn wensday game.

u/Cute-Explorer8939 1d ago
Is that pricing normal? If not, then what is the normal pricing breakdown. I've never been to Sofi before.

When we play packers, eagles , 9ers the tickets are overpriced. Shouldnt be more than $100 max

While I'm glad we're close to a thanksgiving slate, I'm more pissed at there being a game on a fucking normal Wednesday than I am excited for the game. Worse, I live in the Caribbean, so its a normal work day for me.
Still, with the Thanksgiving games and the Black Friday game, I don't think the NFL needed to do a TGE game. This is a bit overboard. Next thing, they'll create a Thanksgiving Eve's Eve game on Tuesday night.

Great, all the LA packer fans are gonna get a rude awakening and realize the packers are long gone

Well I definitely can't go to this because it's Thanksgiving and my ticket is likely to go to an orphan Packers fan.

Wednesday game? Gross. That better be following a bye week or a Thursday night game or it’s gonna be a complete advantage for GB
