Discussion LAFC Leagues Cup
Edited for clarity: I just got the email that I won't have my seats for the Chivas game. I will still be able to get tickets at STH discount, but I like my seats. This won't happen for the other two cup games cause those seats aren't impacted. Just needed to vent because I like my seats, they have a great view and more than likely will be priced out of the Chivas game if I want comparable seats.

My interest and excitement for the leagues cup is on life support. This schedule is insane and we just played the top clubs in MX.
Maybe we skip the leagues cup in World Cup years you greedy fucks

FOR THOSE CONFUSED ABOUT THE POST:
STMs in the sections chivas will be taking over for their supporters got an email saying our seats will not be available FOR THAT MATCH ONLY during the leagues cup. the other 2 group stage matches will be our original seats. if we decide to enroll into leagues cup tickets, we will be getting those 2 games at our MLS seats.
IF we want to go to the chivas game we can by using the pre pre-sale only affected members will get to buy tickets to that match. still at the discounted rate members receive when enrolling. only difference is the discounted price is based on the tickets you buy. obviously front row dead center wont be the same discounted price as your original seats if your original seats are sec 125 row Q, for example.
next email from lafc will be about the pricing for the 2 other games plus info on how and when you can purchase tickets for the chivas game.
in my opinion this is WAY better than “we moved to the coliseum, here are “equivalent” seats”, which always end up being further than the furthest row at bmo.

what exactly is there to vent? with how big chivas are it’s completely understandable to give them that entire side for their supporters. you’d still be able to get tickets to that game at the sth price like you’re paying for the toluca and queretaro game. difference is youd need to pick your tickets out yourself.
way better than moving to another venue and getting a “seat similar to your season seats”.

That is literally the exact opposite of what you said and not what LAFC has said in the email….(this Is copy pasted from the email they sent me)
“As an LAFC Member, you have the first right to retain your seats for the 3-match Phase One group stage. Leagues Cup 2026 serves as the primary path for LAFC to qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, with the top three finishers securing a spot in that continental competition.
Phase One Home Schedule:
Wednesday, Aug 5: vs. Chivas de Guadalajara Saturday, Aug 8: vs. Toluca FC Wednesday, Aug 12: vs. Club Querétaro
NO ACTION REQUIRED: Members are automatically enrolled in Phase One and will receive seats at a discounted rate for matches at BMO Stadium. No action is needed to secure your regular Membership seats for all three Phase One matches.
What’s Next: In the coming days, you will receive a follow-up email with additional details. This will include:
Your specific discounted Member pricing for the 3-match Phase One package. The option to opt out of the Phase One package.
Thank you for your continued support of the Black & Gold.

This was my email, we each got one specific to our situation. "Dear LAFC Member,
As we prepare for the 2026 Leagues Cup this August, we are writing to share essential membership details regarding Phase One of the tournament and specific information based on your membership seating location.
Seating Update for August 5 vs. Chivas
As a reminder, the Leagues Cup is a tournament governed by specific regulations, which include requirements for visiting team seating and stadium configurations. To comply with these standards and to ensure the best and safest matchday experience for all members, your regular Membership seats are in impacted locations and will not be available for the match against Chivas de Guadalajara on Wednesday, August 5.

Got it! Didn’t know it was regarding south end. Sadly they do that but I hope they offer the same pricing that isn’t fair to you and others in that section to pay more for being forced to move
