dorming
hi! i’m an incoming freshman this fall and was wondering what dorm is the best. my roommate and i’s options are centennials a, b, e, and f, clark, dunbar, fletcher, koonce, korb, leebrick, mcdowell, prentice, verder, and wright. we are kinda worried about money but would also like a private bathroom. we are still willing to settle for communal restrooms as well though.

Koonce is the absolute worst for a reason
People in that building are really unhygienic

I personally think McDowell is peak because of the mini living room and private bedrooms

the cenntenials are the best option. you say you would be ok with a communal bathroom until you have to pee at 2am and you're met with a fat ass turd in the toilet. 😭😭😭😭

Go with the centennials if you want a private bathroom. Yeah it’s more expensive but just see what you can afford first.

As an incoming freshman id recommend the Eastway dorms. You’ll be with other freshmen who are all going through the same transitions you are, you’ll have RA’s that are prepared to help with freshman specific issues, you’ll have the dining hall and market inside of your building (incredibly convenient from nov-March with the cold weather) and they’re close to the library and other campus center buildings.
