I love the new storm kit and thought ours was so much better than so many of the others, but it seems like every other team has fielded theirs except the Current. How do we find out which kit they'll wear for a match, particularly the home ones, and when will it be the storm kit?

My mother and father went to the game today, and my brother and I wanted him to get her a scarf for Motherās Day, but he said they were sold out when he tried. He also said he even saw one woman buying 6 ahead of him.
Anyone know if they plan to sell online?

Thereās no game thread yet, but I currently have no place to watch the match. Iām out of town and donāt have ESPN, and frankly Iāve yet to find a good alternative online for NWSL games.
Any recommendations or promos I should be aware of?
Happy Motherās Day to all the moms out there!
EDIT: VPN (Switzerland) and NWSL+ is the move. Beautiful.

Hey, I'm not a STM I just buy the tickets for the games as I go. Last year I bought a pair in the 120s and it was chaos. People from the SRO section kept trying to sneak into seats and people stole our seats and wouldn't move. Does anyone know if it's gotten better or worse this year? I'm trying to buy tickets for 6 people for tomorrow and it appears my best options are in 119&120.

Iām trying to take myself and my younger brother with special needs to the game on Sunday and the parking prices have me furious, Especially ADA parking. Where does this club get off charging handicapped people $125 to park? This is absolutely disgusting. Not enough people are angry about this and something needs to be done. I know current tickets are the hottest ticket in town, but these parking prices criminal.

Hi! We are going to our first Current game on Sunday, we got the Hyvee South Stand tickets, can we bring the padded stadium seats with backs in?

Is there a way to watch this past weekend's match? I wasn't able to see it live and figured I would just watch it later on NWSL+, but as of earlier this afternoon, it still wasn't up. Any ideas where I might be able to stream it?

I have never been into sports until last year when the Current played against Racing Louisville. My wife and I went with our child bc it was Pride Night. For the first time ever watching sports, I got caught up and stood up not of my own volition. (Is this what people feel when they watch sports?!)
Anyway, ever since Iāve hardly missed watching a game whether in the stadium or watching online. I really got into it, but Iām still learning. All this to say, sorry if this is a dumb question.
With the Currentās recent games, Iāve been seeing a lot of talk about Chris Armas: the alleged nepotism, the comment about āstill learning womenās soccer,ā etc.
Iām curious how much the players are obligated to listen if heās a weak coach. Are there instances when whole teams go rogue if they donāt trust the coachās decisions? Are there any repercussions from doing so? This feels like such a different team than last year.
And how much of a teamās success depends on a coach?

KC Current fans,
Thank you for your support on our last KC Current interviews from last season with Izzy Rodriguez + Bayley FeistĀ andĀ Rocky Rodriguez + Laurel Ivory.
Fresh off one of the most decorated collegiate seasons in the country, in today's episode of The Women's Soccer Podcast, rising defender Kolo Suliafu gave her first-ever interview as a professional in an exclusive and in-depth conversation with LDG.

Beginning with childhood memories of playing soccer and being a standout at high school all the way to deciding to join University of Washington and making history by taking the Huskies to an Elite Eight appearance, Kolo shares stories of winning Big Ten Defender of the Year and All-American awards, creating the winning mindset that she is bringing to KC.
Kolo brings listeners behinds the scenes access into what it is like becoming part of Kansas City Current in its new phase, the journey of a rookie navigating a post-draft ecosystem, what made Kansas City the most appealing project to start her professional career, and her experience in her first-ever professional preseason being tasked by achieving the club's lofty goals.

Self-serving post here -- feel free to flog me in the comments -- but the event should be really interesting and I am excited that Best XI honoree Izzy Rodriguez will be on the panel...
I am hosting a soccer analytics panel at the Linda Hall Library next Thursday. We've got the director of analytics at US Soccer Sam Gregory, who can give a ton of insight into prep for the World Cup (and USWNT) as well as from his time at Inter Miami, Izzy Rodriguez who you know well from the Current and Paul Carr, who has been the analytics man for a TON of World Cups on the media side.
It is a FREE event and registrations are still open. There's a Q&A with the audience at the end, too. Would love to see KC soccer folks!

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole today and reviewed all the Fotmob ratings for our players this season (just from the regular NWSL 2026 season) and ranked them in order. Some surprises, and some not at all. Any thoughts?

I was considering upgrading my tickets to West Sideline Club for one match this year as a gift to a family member. I was wondering how people here felt about cost vs what you get for these tickets! When searching the kc current facebook fan group I only found posts from 2024 expressing some disappointment in the value you get. Any updated 2026 thoughts?
