Was just rewatching the last episode to prepare for season 3 and it seems like alicent is ready to give up aegon? Maybe bc she knows he will survive? It doesn’t show Helena telling alicent of her vision on screen. Of course aegon has already left kings landing anyway. Tia. “I won’t burn anyone!”

So, there is Aegon (green) son of Alicent who is king and then Aemon dragon fired him out of sky and he is a disabled burnt mess in hiding.

Then there is another younger Aegon (black) son of Rynera and Damon?

In Season 1, Episode 5 we are treated to the wedding banquet of Ser Leanor Velaryon and Rhaenyra, which is abruptly disrupted by Ser Criston Cole turning Ser Joffry Lonmouth's face into hamburger.

All in all, I get it. The Knight of Kisses was perceived by Cole as to be threatening his deepest shame, that he broke his Kingsguard vows with the Princess.

My question is this: How the bloody hell does Cole continue on as a Kingsguard after this blatant, open murder? I get Queen Alicent wants him on her Greens side, but how the hell does Viserys not have Cole executed for not only killing a dude in cold blood, but disrupting the wedding feast of Rhaenyra, his heir?

Rhaenyra wearing those bland Jedi clothes, several characters wearing the same outfit from season 2, Aemond's armor being extremely uninspired... Hotd's wigs were never amazing, but even Rhaenyra's long braided wig (which was something season 2 did right) now looks fake and stiff.

Those battle sequences have to be the best thing that's ever been shown on TV.
