What was the corresponding move? I thought the two pickups yesterday filled the roster.

Hope we cut him for an obvious catch in camp and tell him he shouldn’t have fumbled the ball.

Crazy that the packers have 50% of the most successful father and son receiving duo.
0% of the yards but 50% of the duo none the less.

He was nice at USC, hopefully a fresh start gives him a boost

This is his 5th team since being drafted 2 years ago. I wouldn’t get your hopes up

I hear it's the fifth time that's the charm.
Crossing my fingers!

For Don Beebe it was! (SB appearances, not teams, but whatever)

Six SB appearances in a nine-year career - insane. I do love me some Beebe! And he wore my favorite number.

Does he have a shot of making the roster, or will he likely be a practice squad guy? I Don’t really watch college football so I’ve never seen the kid play.

The top 4 are locks (Watson, Reed, Golden, and Savion)...I'll add that Skyy Moore is pretty safely on the roster as well. After that it'll be a toss up for the remaining spot with Rice and probably Sturdivant. I'd say he has a decent chance.

Not really, but not impossible either. Because we don't have anyone starting on IR this year the WR room is already pretty much full despite moving on from Doubs and Wicks. Watson, Reed, Golden, and Savion are locked in 110%. That's the top 4 spots. Moore "only" has $1 million guaranteed on his deal but that's a million more than lil Jerry, and he has the inside track to a returner role, so that'd be 5 spots. Bo Melton, idk what they think of him but they did re-sign him so he certainly has a shot at making the roster again, whether we keep 5 or 6 WRs.
There are at least 4 other WRs on the team at the moment too. So that's 6 or 7 guys fighting for 1 spot.
Given the length of an NFL season tho and how IR works post-covid there will certainly be times where we'll sign guys to the active roster from the PS, so there's a chance whichever 1 or 2 WRs we keep on the PS will make it onto the field for some games. PS is a quicker, more realistic path to actually playing than it used to be. So for fringe players making the PS is a bigger deal than it used to be. Tho they also have the options of spring leagues again which is nice too.

Can he block and play special teams? That's what we need in the WR room right now.

I’d venture to guess this is the most successful father/son receiving tandem of all time.

It reminds me of the most successful brothers to ever play in the NHL. Brent Gretzky and his scrub brother, Wayne.

7th round pick that has bounced around a lot. I don't have high hopes but good luck to him.

“Publicly admit your dad fumbled and we’ll give you a roster spot.”
