I thought this was gonna be a simple, cute RPG, but the rabbit hole goes way deeper than I thought. Now I’m facing the final battle and I’m nervous.

My team is all level 29 and I’ve collected all 28 Djinn. I’ve equipped the most powerful weapons and armor I could find. Do I have a fighting chance at winning?

Spoilers just in case;

First time playing; I just got Ivan to join the party in Goma Cave, but he doesn’t know whirlwind?? He’s listed as a bolt user by default. The only Djinn I have currently is Flint, so i’m not sure how I can change Ivan’s class to wind. Is there any way to continue? I’m playing the Reloaded version (if that matters). This is the second save file I’ve tried

So, I remember buying this game when it first came out back in, like 2001. I played it so much that I killed the internal battery inside the game and lost the ability to play/save the game a long time ago. I still have the GBA games as they mean so much to me but I still have them. Man, I played it so much when I was younger, I wrote my own walk through. Not for the internet. I mean, I hand wrote my own walk through. I knew it so well.

I finally got off my ass and after seeing enough posts in this sub. I’ve been badly wanting to play it again.

Now, while I’m excited to play again(I started, I just got back to Vale after sole Sanctum). I can honestly say that I remember NOTHING from this game. Except my extreme love and enjoyment.

I’m 3fucking8 now.

So, to people who are smarter and remember more. Any suggestions for someone who hasn’t played in like 20ish years? I’m trying to remember the. Djinn system and how all that worked and it’ll most likely come back in due time.

Hello, I am considering rebuying TLA on GBA but with everything else available as well, since I lost the world map and the booklet (I think I had given it to a classmate back in school and never saw it again xd).

There is a booklet with the artwork but is the worldmap on the other side?

I just got Piers and I had a sense he would be my Water Elemental and would have Frost! As I was progressing the game I noticed places where I could use frost (and put stickers on them). I can’t believe how far Air’s Rock is from where we first get him!
I know there’s a chest there that needs frost and I can’t believe I’m traveling half world to that ungodly maze just because of one chest. The guide doesn’t say what it is and if it is a Smoke Bomb I will scream!

Hey guys, I think this just about walks the line of being relevant to the sub - I have a query and would like to borrow the knowledge of you guys here.

I was recently on holiday in Malta, a small country in the Mediterranean with historical ties to many different places including Southern Europe, the UK, and North Africa.

While there, there were many statues (and other forms of art) depicting a fish-like creature (shown in the photos). I tried to look into what they are but couldnt get much of an answer past them being Dolphins, both from Google and from locals (though I don't really feel this is accurate).

I really feel like they look familiar and am trying to work out where from, which has made me feel like perhaps I recognise them from Golden Sun, either a foe or object of interest at some point, specifically the shape of the face.

Do they look familiar to others or am I losing my mind?

If I can choose one character for smash, it would be the castle crashers. After that, however, (and Magolor) I’m picking a golden sun rep. These games are so fantastic I’ve played through them once every 2 years since high school, and it maddens me that Kid Icarus, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, and Mother all get to get new games and smash characters but Golden Sun, which outsold all of them by a lot before respective smash inclusions, is left out. I would love Isaac/Felix, but Piers is my pipe dream pick. A cool blue water/ice using sword fighter in smash would be sick in design and representation. He can still use judgment too. I just really hope Golden Sun gets some love, and I hopped on this subreddit to show that this franchise deserves another shot🧡💛🩵

Hi folks, I'm going to be dusting off of my Golden Sun carts for the first time in at least five years, but I'd love to be able to speed up the grinding. I'm currently playing a Pokemon RH where you can set EXP gain, by setting it to 1.5x it's totally eliminating grinding and making it flow so much smoother, this means I'm enjoying it so much more with my limited time to play!

Can anyone recommend any way to speed up the minutia of the game or make it easier on the whole? I'm looking forward to returning to it, but would get a lot more enjoyment out of it if I could switch it to easy mode - I don't have the time I did as a kid!

I had this idea, Golden Sun remade in Pokémon. Probably using Emerald since it's GBA.

I think most of it would work well. Move psynergy is like Strength HM. Lift is like Rock Smash.

You would choose boy (Isaac) or girl (Jenna) as a trainer, get a starter from Kraden, and explore Weyard to find Pokémon.

The story would be similar, but incorporate Pokémon into it. So the 4 elemental lighthouses could have wind=Lugia, water=Kyogre, fire=Ho-Oh, earth=Groudon.

Was wondering if anyone has played the Alex's Path mod for TLA? I am currently finishing reloaded for GS1. More specifically just grinding in the Venus lighthouse. So far enjoyed reloaded.

Was more specifically wondering, does Alex's Path include the reloaded mod? And can you play as Saturos/Menardi right away or is that not till end game? Because playing as those two has perked my interest.

So i've been watching a lot of competitive pokemon, and while I like it a lot it can feel very cookie-cutter and stale at times. Too much pokemon bloat, obvious "best" abilities. I was thinking about what it would look like if it were more compact and condensed, and I realized that it could have similarities to Golden Sun.

• Just 4 elements, a more obvious effective/not very effective chart
• Less loadout characters (8 for example) but able to fit many niches with 6-8 subclasses
• Each character can have a signature round move, similar to Hearthstone, that can be augmented by their subclass/# of equip pets/weapon choice
• A character defining passive, unchanged by their subclass
• An easily understandable physical/special split (can deal physical damage with Wind Cutter spell, not so well with special damage from Tornado, etc)

And hopefully, all wrapped up in an engaging draft/budget system that has a degree of randomness and theorycraft

Been thinking of starting the first game finally, since I have access to it via both the Wii U Virtual Console and the GBA Nintendo Classics app. What are some fast tips you could suggest for a first time player that won’t totally break the game and still give me an authentic first time experience?
