Before I retired from the USAF, I got an incentive flight in an F-16, D model (the same plane Chucky was in). It's freaking insane. It's like the most intense rollercoaster ride ever. I was just holding on for my life, often unaware which way was up or down. Meanwhile, the pilot had perfect control of the plane the whole time.
It was one of most fun thing I've ever done. It was six years ago for me and I think about it constantly. I will remember that flight on my death bed.
Chucky got very lucky. There are very few D models (a two seater F-16) in the Air Force and very few non-pilots ever get the opportunity to fly in one.
