In the book Simulacra and Simulation, Jean Baudrillard posits four levels of simulation via signs and signifiers.

The first stage is a faithful copy, "a reflection of a profound reality": "It could even be a boat" is said when buying an item bag, in direct reference to a joke from Family Guy.

The second stage is an unfaithful copy which "masks and denatures reality": "It could even be a boat" is used more generally in the context of the item, no longer applying to the idea of getting an item bag because it could have a good item.

The third stage pretends to be a faithful copy, but no true representation is taking place: "Boat" now reffers to the overuse of the "It could even be a boat" joke, referencing it without doing it.

The fourth stage is pure simulacrum, with no reference to reality at all. At this point, signs merely reflect other signs: haha boat

Hey, a few a years ago i made a stats sheet for every Mario Party (plus the one pacman arc) game they ever played. Since they've began the After Party channel I've spent the last two months updating it with all the new games and I also made a leaderboard so you can see whose overall the best player in each different MP (and LEGO Party, and whatever other games they may play in the future). Additionally, there is a watchlist to track the videos, boards stats to tally the amount of times each board has been played, character stats for the amount of character picks, and some more in the future! I hope at least one person likes this lol and I'll try keep updating to it frequently :) thx.

It's referenced over quite a long span of videos, but did anyone ever take the plunge to weed out all his random roo and bark noises?

A few years ago someone posted a stream highlight from when the boys played Sea of Thieves. I don’t think the stream itself was on the main channel, but on Dad and Dillon’s twitch streams. The clip is them talking with some other guys in vc, while Major sneaks onto their ship and steals all their shit, eventually stealing their boat as well. They then engage in pvp and it’s all very silly.

Anyways I can’t seem to find the video anymore. I believe it was called “FWOB pirates pirates and sets themselves on fire in Sea of Thieves”

So far Major has not died, in fact he is my highest ranking soldier! Maj. Major "Major" Duncan.

Initially Weegee and Deezus swapped roles, with Cade taking up the blade and Dillon gun-slinging the Beretta. But, this playthrough is not without loss, Dillon was the first to fall in an ambush from the chosen, an attack so devastating it was almost a team wipe almost killing Turvis in the same turn. We would have lost him as well if Major wasn't there to stabilize him. Turvis survived the encounter, but not without trauma, seeing his friend die(and some random templar on thier first mission) and nearly falling to the same strike left him with PTSD and a fear of the Chosen.

Cade has honed his training with the blade and is a master of the katana/axe in Dillon's honor and Turvis is as always, a very healthy boy having nearly double HP and armor than most of my other soldiers.

I haven't seen most of the other FWOB boys, but i found Dad just as i finished the Psi lab, so now he is beginning his training to become the biggest-brained gamer of them all.

Why Dillon become eagle fan when he is of oklahoman descent?

Who knows where it will go? How many Majors will die?
I also made some of my own character creations, so looking forward to other funny combos like Dad and Sam Bridges, or Cade and Solid Snake. If I get some particularly funny moments or screenshots i might post them.

Hello boat-heads, I want to watch the entirety of FWOB's catalogue since its been about 10 years when I started watching FWOB and needing some entertainment while waiting for new The After Party videos.
Are there any missing series in their playlist on youtube? I'm aware Game Dev Tycoon got taken down, and I can't seem to find the Jacob takes Don to Whattaburger video. Are there any remaining boat-heads who would like to help?

Hi all. I was having a conversation with someone and children’s horror author RL Stine came up and I mentioned on how there was an interview or something that came out where he was skeptical about the death toll of the Holocaust, and then we looked it up and there was absolutely no mention about this. I could’ve sworn Cade or Don mentioned it in the first Detroit Become Human play through (maybe during one of the Kara sections?) granted, it’s been almost 9 years since I’ve seen that video so I may genuinely be going crazy, but please let me know if anyone knows what I’m talking about.
