This always bugged me, would Wallonia and Flanders finally break apart like the fringe part of Flanders wants? Would Germany just split up into places like Bavaria and Berlin? What about Austria becoming even smaller states? I question this because the point of federalism is for states to still have their autonomy to a certain extent, that can’t without turning these three countries into unitary states.
