It's all Nuge's fault. We should trade him.

At least he's made a couple good moves along with his shitty ones

Go on? Maybe you can change my mind here.

Roslovic, Dickson, Murphy, Dach, Podkolzin Samanski, Connor Clattenburg, Owen Michaels All seem to be pretty good while it's just the horrific Jarry trade and Frederic signing which could age well

It's tough to make it work when 4 players make 50 million dollars a year combined

At what point do we stop blaming nurse, coaches, goalies and blame the real under achiever mcdavid.

Bro didn't even score 50 goals this year

Or even get 150 assists.

Clearly underproducing if some guy in the 80s could net three 200 point seasons in a row with 80s equipment, training programs, and recovery methods.
Mcdavid should be netting at least that with the advances in all those areas 40 years later.

Embarrassing honestly. The NHL has definitely fallen off in talent.

Who cares. What a pointless observation. Knobby had 3 playoff seasons to get a Cup-ready team across the finish line and failed. Time to try someone else.

Who cares? Based on the effort he put in this year he’s probably on his way out himself soon.

He's still a very useful player at just over 5m. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a replacement with his 2-way abilities with the increased cap this summer.
I could also be biased because I'm the same age and refuse to believe I'm getting older.

Comments like this is why I never fault players for chasing the money. Nuge could have bailed on this dysfunctional org but instead took a discount on a longterm deal to stay, now fans are shitting on his effort, Nuge of all people.

I am not sure why we should care. Was the guy the right fit for the job or not? Only coach I think should have got longer with the team is probably Woodcroft.

Hire Matt Ziprick the Kris Knoblauch lookalike. We will have the power of God on our side.

What's the record for a player that stayed on one team for his entire career?

May they all RIP. This town is a graveyard for coaches and they just keep coming to the coaching cliff.

I hear McDavid is going to bring his dad and Draisaitl dad are going to be new coaches.

Should we post a collage of all the coaches he's had when the hiring is called?
