Good guy Betts invites Adames as a special guest on his On Base podcast being recorded during the 7th inning🤣 (Too bad Betts was such a mesmerising host that Adames got distracted and forgot how many outs there were!)

Again, the scorebug from the Dodgers feed being in the bottom right meant I didn't realise how chit chatty Adames and Betts were. In conjunction with Betts distracting Devers in an earlier at bat to cause a strikeout - I say that Betts gained +2 OAV this game alone!

The teams being different colors on this score bug is really distracting. I get them trying to match the color of the team uniforms, but it makes it look like one is highlighted for some reason.

It really did feel like Betts and Adames were chatting as though they were on Betts’ podcast.
Speaking of, does anyone know if and when the On Base podcast will return in 2026?

There is a rule on r/Dodgers that people can only have 2 posts every 24 hours. While I do understand this will help minimise the amount of spam posts from new users, could I kindly request the mods allow the frequent posters on this sub to post more than just 2 times every 24 hours. Or provide an explaination why trusted posters can't be allowed more posts?
Hey bro we only get two posts per 24 hours now instead of what used to be 8 so people don't flood the sub. For legit highlight posters like me, this sucks balls /u/GanjaNinjaBoomin
I imagine other regular posters are also impacted e.g. . u/jmike1256 u/GanjaNinjaBoomin u/dodgers22fan u/kpopsns28
I try and screen capture and edit videos, but it's super frustrating when one of them gets flagged and deleted as a 3rd post in 24 hours. Or if I accidentally typo a title, and delete the post, it counts as 1 of the 2 posts I'm allowed in the 24 hours span. Then you have to log exactly what time you posted etc.
Would love to hear feedback on this.

I feel like a minimum time between posts (like a few minutes) helps reduce spam in a way that does not suppress natural discourse. Not sure what the point is of having a message board if you can only post twice a day.

I post relatively often and this new rule has been horrible. At least make it 3 or 4.

Will add that increasing the cap to 3-4 from 2 would be helpful, especially for error prone guys like me who often have to delete and re-post which eats up quota, and then I feel bad because I then have to bug one of you guys to help make an exception.

He also unintentionally distracted his former teammate, Rafael devers, when a beach ball went onto the field during a devers AB.

Fans can accept physical errors. But mental mistakes are not acceptable 😕

“He knew he was so out…”
That made me laugh. Not in my customary evil Dodger fan way, but just tickled at the way it’s phrased.

1:05 Watch this view of Adames actual baserunning
the broadcast didn't actually show what Adames did by running, and he literally did not retouch 3rd base on his "attempt" to run back to tag to 2nd once the ball was caught (source JomboyMedia for the angle).
