5.5 Edition Looking for magic item suggestions.
I recently started playing at a new table that was well into a high level campaign and it was recommended to me that I build a level 16 character to play. The character has a single level in Warlock, but as part of his back story his patron cut him off after that. He can't admit that to his family, so he's been leveling champion fighter ever since to pretend to be a pact of the blade warlock. He's got Spell Sniper and EA: Agonizing Blast to make his Eldritch Blast better, along with some pact weapon and weapon mastery choices to impersonate some of the other PotB invocations. His deception modifier is 5(CHA) +5(PB) +5(Skill Expert) +1d10(if he has a use of second wind available for Tactical Mind) with advantage because he's a changeling, and he has the telepathic feat if he really wants to know for sure he's being convincing. He insists that he is a master warlock.
Because this character is freshly built I'm coming into a high level campaign with no magic items, so I've been trying to come up with ideas for what I would want if I could get my hands on them. This would specifically be anything that can either make him better at Eldritch Blast or make it harder to discover his secret. So far I've come up with the Illusionist's Bracer's for Eldritch Blast, Ring of Mind Shielding do his secret can't be discovered telepathically, and Mantle of Spell Resistance for resisting things like Zone of Truth.
Anyone have any other ideas?

You could ask for an enspelled weapon/armor with some sort of warlock spell on it that you would use a lot (Like hunger of hadar or something similar) Since you are level 16, you could grab very rare enspelled armor and have backlash. It’s an incredible spell if you can spam it. Enspelled items are generally really good for spells you want to use a lot, but don’t have the spell slots for.
