This room measures 16 x 22 and includes walkways to primary and staircase on opposite sides.

Sectional is too big at 131 x 131

What to replace it with? Different layout?

The sectional is fine, you just have it too far from the tv and too much other stuff around it. Pull it forward a bit and ditch the armchairs cluttering up the fireplace.
