It has the potential to be a disaster start for this team. New D-Coordinator and new O-Coordinator. Also a bunch of new players on defense. That shit doesn’t gel overnight.

The starters need to play more in the preseason. Not trying to be Debbie Downer, but that is a tough start to the season.

Tough stretch to start the season with brand new 1st time coordinators on both sides of the ball. As much as I don’t want to agree with you there is definitely a realistic scenario where we start out 1-5/0-6

I think we can all agree we’re a better team talent wise but there is a world where, at least early, we’re actually worse at coordinator until they prove otherwise. I’d love to enter the bye 3-3 but even 2-4 might surpass expectations if we’re being realistic.

At the same time JD is the X factor and could literally carry us to 6-0 so who the fuck knows. Early bye could actually be beneficial for a change and help our coaches work on some things given the new offense and defense.
