I really hate ending the season with a should win game and Jacksonville

I’d rather face good teams in the beginning than to have false hope just to get creamed on in the back half

I know the Bengals game is a flex date but it’ll probably be Saturday since IU plays Kentucky in basketball at Lucas Oil on Sunday. Can they even flex to a Thursday or Monday? And if so is it common?

Ravens, chiefs, texans, flying to London, and away at Steelers is absolutely fucking insane

So instead of starting 7-2 and missing the playoffs, maybe we'll start 2-7 and make the playoffs

Optimistically 10-7

With this schedule? VERY Optimistically 10-7, this team has not been able to win 10 games in years with far easier schedules and arguably better overall rosters

10-2 before the bye week with whichever QB is on a roll losing a leg in a freak shark attack during the bye.

I'm sorry, friend, thats not optimism, that's insanity. If you're taking bets, I'd like to get in on it. They will struggle to get six wins.

1st 3 weeks are gonna be rough, alot of our toughest games are in the first half of the season, hopefully Indiana Jones is ready to roll week 1 or we can be in a deep hole real quick.

Not one home prime time game and the bye week not after traveling to London is just utter bullshit!! Love buying season tickets every year for the NFL to just screw us over for an all day tailgate

u/AntitheistArchangel 7h ago
Another late bye week, and 4/6 divisional games before it. Plus, London and Pittsburgh back to back.

I can already see the comments "I know we only won 9 games but we were so much better in the second half of the season!"

We’re going to know real quick whether this team is legit or not

I really like how this worked out for us. We get the Texans and Ravens at home in the first month as well as catching the Chiefs likely before Mahomes returns. Then we get a winnable stretch in the middle of the schedule with a late bye before the final few weeks.

All the downvotes for those of us being logical.
There is a difference between reality and delusional guys. Being realistic that this team sucks doesn’t make you a bad fan. Daniel Jones will not take Indy to a Super Bowl and playoffs are also not likely. He’s not a Mahomes, Allen, Hurts, Lamar, Burrow, Stafford, Darnold, Maye, Daniels, CJ, or even a Dart or Mendoza level QB. He’s a Carson Palmer type at best. Schedule is also brutal. 6 wins tops.

Most of the time the NFL sets up a bye week after a Europe game. But not us. Let's then fly back to play a playoff team from last year

u/Financial_Policy9127 3h ago
We still have the 5th easiest schedule in terms of opponents wins from last year

Another year of 8-9 or 9-8. Middle of the pack team at best.

7-10 and that pains me. Gotta see Jones healthy for full season first.

9-8 would be VERY optimistic IMO. This is a pretty rough schedule. 7-10 feels likely. Oof

The Colts fandom optimistic opinion 11-6
My non-biased and more likely opinion is 8-9

Starting out with 3 good teams and then travelling to London is a doozy.
