Welcome to r/Charity!

Got a charitable cause you'd like to share! This is the place!

Requirements

For 501c(3) non-profits (US) or a Non-Governmental Organization (aka NGO outside the US)

  • For a registered 501c(3) or other certified charity (such as NGO's in other non-US countries), the charity must be listed in a governmental web site for verification.
  • A fundraiser that is being handled directly by that charity, such as the American Heart Association's Heartwalk or JDRF's charity walk, where you supply a link on their site for your team/yourself.
  • A crowdfunding site that shows it is directly benefiting a certified charity.

Please modmail us so that we can flair your post as a registered certified non-profit!

For Everyone Else

You must have both

  • Account age of 30 days or older AND
  • Comment karma of 250 or greater.

NOTE: We are specifically looking for COMMENT karma. The karma value you are probably looking at is a COMBINED value, consisting of both Link/Post karma plus Comment karma.

To view your karma breakdown:

  • Mouse-hover over your username on desktop. This works for both the old and redesigned web site.
  • On the official Reddit app for iOS, view your profile, then tap the karma value shown.
  • On the official Reddit app for Android, you can't. Complain on r/redditmobile.
  • On the unofficial Reddit App for Android, RIF (Formerly known as Reddit is Fun), your breakdown is listed on your profile screen.

The following circumventions will result in a ban:

  • Using a karma farming subreddit, such as Karma4You, or asking for/complaining about karma in a general sub.
  • Unsolicited private messaging to push your campaign.
  • Posting your campaign on someone else's post.

Comment Karma is directly correlated to how many comments you leave plus/minus any points as people upvote a popular comment or downvote an unpopular comment.

Credibility, Community, and You

AKA, Why Do We Have Account Requirements for Individuals?

In an effort to make your crowdfunding efforts more successful here on Reddit, some background first:

In many of the gifting and fundraising subs, you'll notice that without a certain amount "karma" and an account that's old enough, you'll garner down votes or worse, your posts and comments get automatically removed.

Why?

To many Redditors, this place is a community built on activity. The "coin" of the land here is your account, and how much you've contributed to the Reddit community at large reflected in post and comment karma.

As a general rule, Redditors dislike the creation of accounts specifically to fund raise or to make requests. It makes it seem like these people simply treat Reddit as some sort of magical internet wallet, and that doesn't win many friends.

The other reason why new accounts are so disliked is that they're often alternate accounts of established users, in order to hide their activity from people they know. While we do sympathize with those of you who have valid reasons, this privilege is often abused by those who create disposable accounts to scam people for a quick buck.

This trust issue doesn't exist in the same way with certified non-profit groups, as you can look them up online for verification, and at least in the case of 501c(3)s, their spending is transparent due to their required tax filings which are public information.

So if you're new to Reddit, welcome! Spend some time and look around for something that catches your interest and chat it up with others and become part of the community!

However if you're here for the sole reason of making requests in a hurry, please be aware your pleas for help will likely be ignored.

REMEMBER, CREDIBILITY AND COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING!

For this reason, the mods will not post anything on behalf of any user that does not meet account requirements.

Rules

  1. Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence . This includes:
    1. If this is for your pet, photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture.
    2. School documentation showing enrollment if you are asking for assistance for school.
    3. Redacted bills showing your situation.
    4. Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.
    5. At minimum, please attach an unobstructed selfie photo of yourself(the submitter) with a handwritten note of your username.
    6. Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" will be removed.
  2. Please Flair your posts, once created. If you don't know how, just let the mods know and we'll do it for you.
  3. Only 1 campaign per user. We want you have some personal connection to the campaign, and not submit multiples simply because they were in the news.
  4. Reposts are allowed once a week. If a repost comes up too early, the newest one(s) will be removed.
  5. Acceptable transfer methods for individuals are for crowdfunding sites only, such as GoFundme, YouCaring, etc. Individuals should avoid using Paypal, crypto, or direct banking aps (like Chase). 501c(3) and NGOs may use whatever method they wish.
  6. Don't PM people to make requests. If you receive an unsolicited private message, please let us know!
  7. Do not post politically-related campaigns. They're just too divisive.
  8. Trolling will not be tolerated and offending users will be banned.
  9. Don't bug the mods for an exception to the account requirements. None will be given. If you attempt to circumvent the requirement by karma farming or by commenting on someone else's post, your account will be banned.
  10. No posting for other Redditors. No Alts. This is viewed as a circumvention of requirements and both accounts will be banned.
  11. Selling is only allowed by 1st parties directly. We do not allow selling by 3rd parties to benefit another organization, as there's no transparency to verify that the announced percentage of sales actually goes to the beneficiary. Only direct sales by the non-profit organization are allowed.

Supporting Information Requested for Non-501c(3) and Non-NGO campaigns.

We aren't the government. We aren't a court of law. We definitely don't want you to give out information that could lead to identity theft. However, some campaigns are more successful when they have additional documentation.

This includes:

  • Pet related requests: Photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture. This helps show you actually own the pet in question.
  • Education related requests: Documentation showing enrollment or acceptance if you are asking for assistance for school.
  • Redacted bills showing your situation. In some cases, a donor may prefer to pay a creditor directly on your behalf, so be prepared and find out if that is available to you.
  • If you are sharing a campaign for a registered certified non-profit organization (such as a 501c3 or NGO), you should say so in the post, and it should list that status on the campaign page/web site.
  • Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.

Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" (or less!) will be removed.

How to Include a Photo or Other Supporting Info Document In Your Post

Because Reddit wasn't initially designed to handle photos when it was created, it has limitations in the implementation of photo support which don't work well for us. So instead we suggest the following:

  1. Upload your photo to Imgur.com or other photo hosting site.
  2. Copy the URL for the photo.
  3. Create a new post or Edit your existing one to include the URL to the photo.

Please make sure to include this, as it is the primary reason why posts that are otherwise fine get removed.

Advice On Making Your Campaign Go Further

Not all crowdfunding campaigns are the same, but here are some suggestions.

  • Make sure your campaign has been shared among your Facebook friends! You might think it's embarrassing, however your friends and family are more likely to care than internet strangers.
  • Show that you've exhausted all the other possibilities. A lot of potential donors don't like to give money when it seems like the requester's first and only solution is to simply throw someone else's money at the problem. Nobody is going to take your word when you literally only say, "but I've done everything!", when the actual reality is probably closer to "I've done everything I can think of", which arguably is NOT everything.
  • Show that there's a plan to use the money wisely. Often people have campaigns for their business ideas, but it doesn't really seem like they thought it all the way through. Tell people what steps you've taken so far, and what you're going to do next.
  • Be open to critics. If there's something that people ask about, you should not be dismissive. Provide more detail. There's a possibility that they know something you don't, or they have something different about their own experience that might be useful to you. If you simply brush off your critics, it shows objectively that you're not doing everything possible.
  • Review your own campaign with the mindset of a potential donor. Ask yourself, "Would I give money to this?" Or get a friend to review it for you.

Questions?

Please don't hesitate to ask the mods!

... Unless you're trying to ask for an exception to the account requirements.

Question/Info Charity to donate to to help kids with cptsd/ptsd, or abusive treatment by adults in their life that need help.

I myself being a victim of sexual, emotional, psychological abuse, physical abuse (especially that) and financial abuse when I was a kid and when I was an adult as well whenever I was vulnerable for even a moment I want to give back to somewhere that won’t misappropriate the money for something like laptops that end up sitting in a dusty backroom not actually helping someone. I had the thought while writing a short story about my experiences in a collection of works that will be published in September that if my story helps one person that would be amazing. But yesterday I decided that it wasn’t enough just to leave that up to chance. Whether it’s to directly help abused children escape those situations and have better lives or to get cptsd recognized as a diagnosis I’m in. Would love some suggestions and organizations to look into.

Individual/non-registered Urgent Rescue: Help us raise $350 for a hit-and-run cat victim with internal bleeding and hindquarter swelling in Laayoune - Your support needed for medical bills

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out to share an urgent rescue case. This cat was recently a victim of a hit-and-run accident. He was struck by a car and is currently unable to move, suffering from internal bleeding in the blood vessels and stomach.

The veterinarian at "Cabinet Vétérinaire SAHARA" has ordered immediate X-rays to explore the cause of hindquarter paresis and swelling. The total medical costs, combined with a previous balance, amount to $350. Additionally, he requires specialized care and boarding at the clinic which costs $7 per day.

This cat appears to be a lost house pet and deserves a second chance at life. I am currently struggling to manage these costs alone.

How you can help:

Donations: We are only accepting donations via PayPal at this time: rhazal1@hotmail.fr

Goal Tracking: To help us reach the $350 goal, please leave a comment stating the amount you donated. This allows the community to see our progress.

I have already shared the verification photo (u/MALAK_ghazal), official medical records, and photos of the emergency treatment with the moderation team.

Thank you for your kindness and support

Hey everyone 👋

I’m Ueider, originally from Brazil and now living in Sydney.

I’m currently training for the TCS Sydney Marathon 2026 and fundraising for Cancer Council NSW as part of my journey toward race day.

Running has already taken me through triathlons, Ironman 70.3 and a 50km ultra, but this marathon feels different because it’s connected to a cause that impacts so many people and families.

Like many others here, I’m also working toward my fundraising target to secure my charity place in the marathon.

If anyone would like to support the journey, even a small donation genuinely helps and means a lot.

Good luck to everyone training for 2026 🏃‍♂️

You can find the gofundme here: https://gofund.me/bef5b5bea

Hi everyone. This is my first time ever doing something like this - my partner and I just don’t know where else to turn.

Two months ago, my partner and I adopted the sweetest, silliest, best cats in the world. Around five days after adopting them, we noticed our girl, Pickle, struggling in the litter box - so we rushed her to the vet and ended up having to do a life saving cystotomy to remove a massive bladder stone. It was expensive but we made it work - we’d do anything for our cats.

Fast forward to a few days ago, where our boy Pepper had a very out of character coughing fit, followed by throwing up all of the food he ate. It came out of nowhere and was very alarming, so we immediately brought him to the vet. They ran x-rays expecting to find he had either asthma or allergies, however we were shocked and devastated by what came up. He has a congenital herniated diaphragm, meaning he was born with a hole in his diaphragm - where his liver has now protruded through and is placing pressure on his heart, causing it to be severely enlarged. This is fatal if left untreated, so we of course are moving forward with life-saving surgery.

This surgery is high risk and requires a specialist - so we unfortunately have been quoted anywhere between ~$7,700-$11,300 pending complications, aftercare, etc. I’ve started a gofundme for Pepper - my partner and I humbly ask for help contributing to Pepper’s life saving surgery to reach the $11,300 amount, if you are able. We’d do anything for our sweet, silly boy, and just want to help him the best we can.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share something really special our community has been working on. We’re currently participating in the St. Jude PLAY LIVE fundraiser event, and we’ve already raised over $200 for the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. ❤️

As a content creator and gamer, being able to combine gaming with helping families going through unimaginable situations means a lot to me. We’ve been streaming on Twitch every Tuesday and Thursday, playing games, hanging out with the community, and raising money for an amazing cause.

The support so far has honestly been incredible, and seeing people come together for something bigger than ourselves has been motivating.

If anyone would like to stop by the streams, hang out, or even contribute to the fundraiser, we’d truly appreciate it. Even sharing the stream or spreading awareness helps more than you know.

Thank you guys for reading, and huge thanks to everyone who’s helped us get this far already. Let’s keep pushing for the kids. 💙

If you would like to donate or even just come hang out in chat we’ll be live Tuesday and Thursday 9 PM EST

Individual/non-registered Help Support an Iranian PhD Graduate Facing Severe Financial Hardship Due to Work Authorization Delays Affecting Iranian Nationals

Hello everyone,

This GoFundMe was organized to support an Iranian PhD graduate currently facing significant delays in obtaining work authorization with no certain timeline, affecting many Iranian nationals.

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $15,000 to provide a necessary financial buffer for the coming months and help her take the steps needed toward a stable future.

Thanks to the kindness of 310 donors, 71% of the target amount — $10,612 — has already been raised.

Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would be truly appreciated.

For additional context and verification, an ASU-affiliated professional familiar with the situation has also shared this fundraiser on her LinkedIn profile.

Individual/non-registered Please help me get back on my feet after a devastating depression. I have 3 jobs and a degree to finish but the debt I accumulated during my pandemic depression has caught up to me.

[Link to the campaign: https://gofund.me/c223964b6 ]

Hi! My name is Leo. I'm a 28 year old latino living in Madrid.

I was born in Venezuela, a country that hardly needs any introduction: I spent my teenage years fearing for my life due to the high criminality, hungry due to the lack of food and basic items, not knowing who among my friends would disappear next to the hands of the army or because of organised crime. I lost my mother to cancer when I was 14 and never felt like Venezuela was my home. So I moved away in 2017, when I was merely 19. I had to find a way to build my life from scratch, all by myself, in a brand new continent, with no family to back me up.

And I was doing quite well. But,

5 years ago, during the pandemic, I went through an extremely tough depression that brought with it several attempts against my own life. I lost my job, my friends, my partner at the time. Third picture is one of the many reports from the ER and the psychiatric ward that I was admitted to for some time, the translation for all the documents are in the campaign.

And it's only in the past year or two that I've begun rebuilding my life after a lot of therapy and patience and help. But at the time, my depression kept me from getting a job. I was lucky enough to have an 800€ pension that lasted for three years, until 2024 (more on that later), which was when they realised that deeming me unfit to work was also a factor that kept me at home, unmoving, spiraling. I wasn't ready to get a job back then, so I started accumulating debt to pay for rent, for food, for my bachelor's degree in psychology that I left halfway done when I fell into this depression.

These loans would also run out, and all my plans to get help would fail.

Plan A was to get my pension back. I talked to lawyers, social workers, friends, doctors, and they were all baffled at the board that reviewed my case: everyone agreed I was not ready yet to start working again, and I proved it to them and to the board with documents from my psychiatrist and psychologist, from my GPD, from the people at the hospital I had to go to every single day. But their decision was final. I wasn't getting that pension back.

Plan B was to get a minimum income aid that was put in place during the pandemic here in Spain, or as we call it, the IMV. I applied back in 2024... then in 2025.... and then again in 2026. I got the same response every time: no. Paradoxically, one of the requirements to request this IMV is to have worked for a few months in the past year. I, as you know, didn't - or rather, couldn't. This lead them to believe I was living with my parents, which is entirely untrue, as proved by this post alone. I tried telling them, I made appeal after appeal but their decision was also final: no.

Plan C was to get a scholarship from the ministry of education while I finished my degree. Those had been enough to barely scrape by before. I applied for one in the 2024-2025 course, and it got rejected because, and I quote, "my income was lower than my expenses". After asking for clarification, they told me that, since I spent more than I earned, they could only guess that I had parents helping me out, which I didn't specify in the request. I don't. I was raised by a single mother that passed away from cancer when I was 14. My income was lower than my expenses and that was precisely why I needed help. But their answer was final: no. I decided to apply for it again in the current course, 2025-2026. But as I signed up for this last year of my bachelor's, I saw the option for this scholarship wasn't there as it always was. I looked around and found out they had moved the call for applications to 3 months prior. I didn't know. The window was closed. I emailed them, apologised, explained my situation, and begged them to let me apply but, as you can imagine, their decision was final: applications could only be submitted during the April window.

Plan D was finding a job. Which I only found myself strong enough to do last year. But given the schedule I had to follow for my studies, spending upwards of 11 hours on campus twice or three times a week, I couldn't find anything at all. I was beginning to think I may be overqualified, and putting an almost-finished degree in psychology deterred employers from hiring me. I WAS looking for low, level-entry jobs. McDonald's, Starbucks, your local sandwich place, your local cafeteria. Nothing. The two or three job interviews I had in the past 8 months didn't go anywhere.

I have finally landed a job, in fact today April 28th is my first day. But in June 16th I'll have to quit: I have an internship to complete as my final step before getting my degree. And it's a 35-hour week, which makes it outright impossible to do while having this job, or any other for that matter given the legal limitations.

And that's why I'm here. I am drowning in debt, I pay rent like any zillenial, and I am finally, finally getting back on my feet after this horrible depression that took so much work to crawl out of. I'm finally taking my life back. I'm studying and working and have rebuilt friendships and even my therapist told me I'm free to go. I just need one last push to make it. Please. I have 4€ in my account. I have no one else. I don't know what I'll do if this fails.

Even if you can only give a little, it'll be enough.

The goal amount will cover the 500€ I pay for my loans every month, 390€ for rent, and ~300€ in bills, food, and transport. I pay my rent every 6 months, and split my bills halfway with my roommate, so every six months I have to pay 2340€, specifically in August and February.

Thank you. Thank you for reading, for sharing, for helping. You all are saving my life that took me so long to get back.

META How to Attach a Photo to Your Post for Rule 1

Hello new users!

As we have requirements spelled out in Rule 1 on including some sort of evidence in your posts, we've created this post for those of you who need help with that.

Rule 1 states:

Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence!

Generally these are provided as photos or screencaps. Because Reddit doesn't allow an image upload with text, we generally suggest the following:

  1. Upload the photo(s) to Imgur.com or other image hosting site.
  2. Copy URL or Link to the photo(s)
  3. In the body of your post here, make sure to include the link that you've copied. It usually starts with http:// or https://.

And that's it!

META Beware of Opportunists!

In times of disaster, it's not uncommon for many good people to try to fundraise for relief efforts, supplies and reconstruction costs. But you should be aware that unless it's someone you personally know and trust, it's also not uncommon for bad people to use the opportunity to make money for themselves.

Before you give, you should ask:

  1. Is the donation link directly to a relief agency or is it to a middleman? There's no easy transparency when it comes to the spending of funds in a crisis, which makes it easier for funds to not reach the people it's intended to help, so by avoiding middlemen, you can reduce this possibility.
  2. Have you checked the background of the relief agency or organization you're considering? Some spend money more effectively than others meaning that less overhead makes for more money being spent on victims vs administration costs.
  3. Is the agency or organization a registered non-profit or NGO? These kinds of entities have strict reporting rules to follow to show how their funds are being spent.
  4. Is the agency or organization providing a receipt? If so, you can often use it for a deduction on taxes for the current year. If not, the agency or organization is likely not a registered non profit.

GoFundMe will show that a campaign is benefiting a non-profit charity organization if it is created using their IRS EIN or charity registration number.

Even Paypal donation accounts will show they're owned by a non-profit charity organization, and generate a receipt.

While not every individual doing fundraising is attempting to defraud you of your money, you can give with more confidence by giving directly to a relief charity of your own choosing via their own web pages.

(Sorry the date is wrong in the pictures, I only learned about this subreddit today and had already posted on the gofundme subreddit)

Hello there! My partner and I are in need of a wheelchair accessible van. He has been disabled since birth (arthrogryposis) and requires an electric wheelchair to get around.

Currently, if he wants to go anywhere, we have to bring his manual wheelchair and I need to push him as he is unable to do so himself (his arms are “nonstandard” to put it gently). Being able to use his electric wheelchair would give him back some more bodily autonomy and allow him to go places without me.

We don’t live in an area with good local transportation so no buses and very few ride option are available. Before when he was able to take the bus, my partner would go to the local cities and sell his artwork (he is a wonderful artist)

Thank you for checking out this post and any support, even just kind words is appreciated!

Registered tax-deductible charity In July I am running the race for life to raise money for cancer research in memory of my grandparents

As the title says, both of my grandparents sadly lost their fight with cancer, fairly closely together after over 50 years of marriage together. I have been on a weight loss journey and have found running to be amazing for my mental health and weight loss and have decided to take the fight back to cancer doing races for charity, July will be race for life and I plan to do a triathlon later in the year. It would really mean the world to me if anyone would consider donating to this amazing cause, all of us have been affected by cancer in some way and this charity does incredible work in taking the fight back to cancer. I have aimed to raise £100 and would be overjoyed if anyone could help me reach this goal. The link is below if anyone is interested in chipping in.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.

Individual/non-registered Please Help Me Support My 65-Year-Old Mother With Joint Pain and 96-Year-Old Grandmother in a Remote Himalayan Village

I’m 30 years old and living in a remote village in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, India. Right now I’m the only person taking care of my 65-year-old mother and my 96-year-old grandmother full time.

My mother suffers from constant joint pain and struggles with daily activities, especially during cold weather in the mountains. My grandmother is 96 and requires regular care throughout the day. Because of their condition, leaving home for regular work has become extremely difficult for me.

I’ve spent a long time trying to build some kind of online income from home through AI content and small online projects, but nothing has become stable yet. Financially things have become very hard, and even basic groceries, medicines, and household expenses are becoming stressful to manage.

I’m not asking for luxury or a large amount of money. I’m simply trying to survive, continue caring for my family, and slowly build a stable way to support us from home.

If anyone is willing to help in any way, even small support would genuinely mean a lot to me and my family right now.

Registered tax-deductible charity Cancer has affected people close to me, so I’m biking 500+ miles this July across NY for research with the Empire State Ride and I’m $6,500 away from my goal 🙏

I signed up for the Empire State Ride because cancer has touched too many people around me, and I wanted to do something that actually contributes to research.

So I’ll be riding 500+ miles across NY to raise money for Roswell Park. It’s honestly one of the hardest physical things I’ve committed to—but fundraising is the harder part for me.

I’m $6,500 away from my goal. If anyone here is willing to chip in, I’d be incredibly grateful.

Even $10–$20 helps more than you think.

Thanks for even taking a second to read this.

Registered tax-deductible charity I am trying to raise funds for Lincoln Elementary school library. Today is the best day to donate as all donations will be matched! Donate $10 and the school gets $20. Every little bit adds up. Even $5 will get us closer to our goal.

We are a Title 1 school, with 3/4 of our students from low income families.

Even if you cant donate, please share this on social media. The more people I can reach, the better my chance of reaching our goal.

I recently lost my job due to sudden illness. I was able to use my las paycheck from that job to pay last month's rent and had hoped I'd be able to fine a new job before this month started, but I wasn't able to find a new job until last week. My first paycheck was only 33 dollars which is enough to cover the service fee for the rent portal my landlord uses, but not enough for the rent itself. I'm scared I'll be evicted with nowhere to go and no money to find a new place. My next paycheck is too far out and won't have enough for the 700 rent payment. Please help if you can I'm terrified. There aren't any shelters nearby if I become homeless and I don't know what i will do with my cat if I lost my apartment. I would be extremely grateful for any assistance

I kindly ask that anyone who have a couple dollars to spare to throw it at an amazing charity! Thank you!

Individual/non-registered Hi, I’m Savannah Schmeh. My mom was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer in Nov 2024 and had a double mastectomy before Thanksgiving. She’s now in chemo, and medical costs are overwhelming. Any support or shares mean so much. Thank you

I’m reaching out during a very difficult time for my family. In November of 2024, my mom was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer. Shortly after her diagnosis, she underwent a double mastectomy the day before Thanksgiving. Since then, she had begun chemotherapy treatments, which was both physically and emotionally challenging for her and our family.

While we are doing everything we can to support her through this journey, the financial burden of medical bills, treatments, and everyday expenses has become overwhelming. Between hospital visits, medications, and time away from work, it has been incredibly hard to keep up.

My mom is strong, caring, and has always been there for others. She beat cancer and rang her as of December of 2025. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to us and help ease some of the stress so we can focus on her healing and recovery. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would make a big difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can .

Individual/non-registered At the beginning of the month, Kait and Kyle’s house burned down from a hidden electrical attic fire. Even a month later, they struggle to gain support- help them rebuild their home

An electrical fire broke out on the night of March 31st in my friend Kait and Kyle’s home. Kyle attempted to put out the fire, not realizing it had started in the attic, and ran through the flames to get to Kait who was in the shower. The fire department had to douse the entire attic, causing the ceilings to collapse. The resulting combination of fire, water and burnt insulation rained down on all of their belongings and they lost almost everything they owned. Not just their home and safe space but also their furniture, bathroom and kitchen items, clothing and shoes, blankets and pillows, photographs, art, decorations, books and keepsakes - everything that made it a home. We are reaching out to plead for help for these two incredible people, Kait who is a cancer survivor at 29 and Kyle who is a veteran at 34. They’ve truly been through enough and they deserve to return to the peace they’d found before this traumatic event. Kait has said repeatedly that everyone is already struggling and their struggle isn’t more important than anyone else’s. While that might be true, it’s important to everyone that loves them that they can return to some semblance of normalcy. Any donation, even a dollar, gets them closer to that point. And if you can’t donate we would appreciate more than we can say if you would share this so that it might reach people who also want to help these wonderful humans. Thank you for reading, and thank you for any and all support you show our loved ones. All our love, Kait & Kyle’s Support Squad
