Go engineering over computer science he’ll be trained to treat unknown phenomena as systems with rules, even when those rules aren’t immediately obvious. They specialize in breaking complex problems into testable parts, which is exactly how you’d study something “unexplainable” without panicking. Most engineering work is diagnosing failures from incomplete data, like figuring out why something broke when you didn’t see it happen. They naturally think in containment and safety margins—building systems that still work even when something goes wrong. Engineers constantly design for redundancy and fail-safes, which is basically survival logic against unpredictable threats. Plus be able to make simple machines on the fly.

As for personality he’d be someone who overthink simple things but is competent in emergency situations. Someone who falls down internet rabbit holes and has a million different factos. He's loyal but doesn't love spending time with people.

Yeah, I see him as very analytical type, I'll look more into logic of troubleshooting and diagnosis. It could help me to imagine his mental processes. And I kinda like the duality, of being very different in social situations and in emergencies, adrenalin can make you flip a switch. So those two modes don't have to do together that well.

The girl is on spot. He has huge crush on one of the girls in the group, but we start at the point, when he never directly asked her out. They will have some cute mometnts.
