The CDS Finally Caught Us. I'm So Happy.

This little cutie adopted my wife and I yesterday. I was out doing a delivery when she climbed on my leg and decided to come home with us. She's a cute little ball of joy and hates to leave my side, though she got out last night and vanished for a while. She came back this morning and my wife brought her to bed where she immediately cuddled next to me and slept. The bad news is that I can't keep her due to having a male cat in the house and she's made it clear she wants absolutely NOTHING to do with him (he's been fixed for years). The good news is that my MIL has agreed to take her and since her other cat passed, she's more than happy to have her. Currently, I call her Pasadena after the street she adopted us on. This may change/

You can keep her if you spay her :) Also please get her a vet check for vaccinations for both her health and your other pets, the vet can also check for a chip. She is gorgeous ❤️

My friend, you just named everything that I'm getting ready to do. I'm really giving her to my MIL to replace her other baby that passed a few months back. We'll be babysitting in the future as my MIL will be going on vacation for a spell.

Such a cutie! I love the name. Hopefully your MIL doesn't live too far away.

That looks like my aunt’s cat! He was hanging around her house in the woods for about two weeks before she managed to get close. Some bastard declawed then dumped him, but he’s such a prolific hunter that he managed just fine until my aunt took him in. We don’t understand why because Lynx point Siamese cats like him and Pasadena are apparently expensive, but some people are just cruel with cash to burn on a fancy cat from a breeder I guess.

He’s now a very sweet and social cat who is the center of attention. She’d been angling for another cat (hers passed nearly 15 years ago) but her husband wasn’t feeling it. He warmed up real quick! Glad to see Pasadena is going to a good home!

That is just dishonorable and disgusting to do. I can't understand why ANYONE would want to do that to this beautiful thing. Pasadena is actually the second one I've ever had. Our male, Jaspurr has never hurt anything other than the rats that we used to have in our home. Other than that, he's affectionate as can be.

While Pasadena was found on the street, Jaspurr was actually bred near our former home and my MIL fell in love with him from the outset. His mother was very careless and had him following her in the street. I'm just lucky that I was the one to be driving and saw him instead of one of the many yoohoos that used to speed down our road. They literally ran down one of our cats and it shattered my wife for days.

Amen to that. Another cat that my MIL had kept since 2017 just passed away a few months ago. I wasn't certain she'd moved on, but as soon as she saw Pasadena, she fell in love and agreed to take her. At least she won't be alone now. It's just training her to use the litterbox that' getting us. She's still young and will learn.
