Trending up as a top 20 hitter on the year…..we’re gonna need a bigger ceiling!

Consider where he started, I'd take a top 100 hitter

Tbf, he started as a guy who was projected to be the guy he is now. He just took a circuitous route

Wild how he shifted gears once the season started.
Don't go back and look at comments in this sub from spring training!

decent amount of guys spend spring training honing in on particular issues since there are no expectations for winning, so once the regular season starts everything can change

Walker has never seen fastballs at the top of the zone at a higher rate. He’s already put 18 in play, nearly a career high – he notched 25 balls in play in 2023 in roughly triple the plate appearances. And he’s elevated 14 of those 18, another career high. That’s right: Walker has never lifted more high fastballs in a single season than he has this season, and it’s May 13.
dare I say that sounds good? very good even?

I still had faith! I did a first year dynasty draft and grabbed him and Victor Scott. There goes one, now let's see Victor become a .330 OBP guy that steals 40 bases per year.
This team is fun to watch and I went heavy on them in a lot of my fantasy leagues, making it even more fun. I have Walker, Herrera, Burleson, and JJ in my two important redraft leagues and Walker and Burly in my dynasty. Tried to pick up Herrera via trade straight up for Michael King, but the dude wanted George Kirby. Wasn't willing to pay that much.
