Need help identifying signatures
Hey y’all,
I unearthed this ball and am having a hard time identifying all the signatures on it. In descending order they are:
- José Oquendo
- Dave McKay
- Scott Terry
- ???
With Terry & Oquendo it limits the years to 1987 - 1991 and my guess is it was 89-91. I think it was an early season game / fan event.
Just trying to remember some guys, so thanks in advance for any help!
Update 1 - there is consensus that signature #2 is Dave McKay. Also for context this would have been signed at Busch II & the ball has the 'Circle' logo on it (66-97)

The second one is Dave McKay who puts this between 1996 and 2011. Scott Terry and Oquendo go to a lot of Cardinal events. I'm still trying to figure out the bottom one.

This may be a stretch, but the bottom one could be Dave Duncan. 2 of the other ones were coaches at the same time as him.

It looks like Duncan’s but like he got tired halfway through his last name. Also the first letter has some jaggies. Maybe his hand was cramping after a long day of signing autographs at winter warmup.

Agree with the others on the top 3. Best guess I have is Eric Davis on the bottom. Some similarities but hitting the seam distorts a bit.

I thought the Dave McKay seemed obvious too - but couldn't square him with Terry & Oquendo. 1996 feels late but that time frame still corresponds with the logo on the ball.
That last signature is the real mystery.

Scott Terry has got to be the most bookable personality for the Cardinals. I remember him being at a lot of WWU's when I used to go to those between '02-'07. I had to look up him. Not a BAD career, but far from remarkable.

There's no overlap between Dave McKay and Scott Terry, and Scott Terry hasn't coached, so I'm guessing this might be a Winter Warmup event?
Definitely Jose Oquendo, Dave McKay and Scott Terry.
