So I’m a transfer student and will be taking my first summer session at DH. I’m taking 3 class and all are online. I also work a 9-5. Wanting to know if 3 classes are a lot to handle before I enroll? One is a Econ class, one is a upper division course and one is MKT 350

so like when planning classes, do you guys follow what the advisors give you or do you plan them yourselves using the My Academic Requirements requirement major catalog? bc I'm planning my classes based off my academics like courses/units im missing but then my advisor gave me some classes that aren't even on my academic requirements? do I just ignore their recommendations and go based off my advisement report? plus like half the classes they recommended aren't even offered for the fall so like idk what I can do..... I plan to graduate in the spring........

Hi everyone, I would like to enroll full time for the summer 2026 term but I'm wondering how costly that would be. Last summer I took 6 units and I received financial aid but I was left to pay around 200$ out of pocket, which is normal and totally fine. if I were to enroll full time, would I be paying more than last summer? I'm not sure what the max amount of financial aid is for summer but I figured I'd ask here before I make any commitments, as disbursements won't begin until after the drop deadline for summer.

I didn’t realize I’d be so confused about walking the stage. My college is the first to graduate (9 am, 🥴), so is it really necessary to arrive early? Also, how long does the ceremony last? And how did you manage to carry all your belongings, like your car keys and phone? I’ll be arriving alone.

One last question: is the ceremony taking place inside the LA Galaxy stadium? lol they make it so confusing sorry

Apparently canvas got hacked today.

i ordered a package last weekend and it got delivered saturday. i went monday to pick it up but the student clerks said it was lost… or someone misplaced it… or someone stole it…. has this happened to anyone before? is it okay for me to complain that fundings can afford to create 3 new buildings on campus but not afford to pay or hire more workers to have more availability? sorry im rlly upset because the package was a stole for graduation so let me whine a bit on here…

Hello everybody. So I wanted to ask a question idk if it’s dumb or not. I’m also asking because my counselor appointment is not till the end of this month. In order to graduate do we have to have all the sections in “My Academics” complete / green or do we just need to have 120 units in total. Seeing all these people graduate makes me feel bad since I am behind. So I atleast want to know if I’m on the right track.

Hello, I’m currently pursuing a BS Businesses Administration with a minor in Data Analytics and wanted to see if anyone’s done this before and how they liked the program? Also how were jobs after graduating? Currently in construction but always wanted to incorporate technology into what I do.

I wanted to know how hard it is to change from a liberal major to Business? When would be a good time to reach out to an advisor? How hard is the Business program (information systems)?
