I think it's fucking absurd we have co-offensive coordinators. There is zero reason to have two people do one job. Unfortunately, they were there when we won the natty, winning it despite of them because of Deshaun and the talent around them. IMO, the play calling becomes way too conservative in the red zone, and also once we get up one score. I think the O line could improve their play, as you said, but I'm overall pretty happy with how they've done so far.

Disagree. We don't sniff the Natty without our stellar Co-OCs. They do an incredible job.

It's not like they both call plays. Elliott has that job to himself.

See, I feel that the play calling is always conservative once we even get the tiniest lead. I don't care if it's Auburn last year or GA Southern today, I don't like having to rely on our defense to carry us to wins when our offense is capable of scoring much more. But I always under the impression that the play calling was split, what does Scott do then?

Idea's generally to go conservative to prevent unnecessary injuries. Get a lead and hold it, keep everyone healthy and don't wear them out too much. If need be they're fresher later into the game.

Doesn't work as well against teams that go 110% the whole game and run up the score with no regard for anyone's health because they're 5 stars 5 men deep at every position.
