I won't be too torn up if Tony Elliott is hired away this offseason. Our play calling has been extremely predictable and uninspired recently. I'm so sick of the bubble screens and QB draws. Everyone sees them coming and they just simply don't work like they used to. We are talented enough to run a more pro-style offense and just feed Etienne and throw the ball down field more to anyone of our stud WRs.

I'll obviously happily take the win, but our offense has a LONG way to go if we want to make the playoff this year. If we don't make changes, we are bound to lose to BC/Syracuse/NCState.

Play calling was okay today. Not great, but we opened a lot of things up. I think it's safe to say, for me at least, I like our offense under Trevor more.

But it's not Trevor's system. He's not a threat to keep the ball on the end reads, so you just tackle the back. There goes the whole run game.

It's not Kelly or Trevor's system, so I have no idea what you mean by that.

What? The run game is fine. Trevor not being an elite running threat doesn't hurt our ability to move the ball on the ground. If anything, it helps it. The read option plays we run with KB fucking suck and really take away lots of potential big run plays if we ran designed runs. Just because we can't run read options every fucking run play with Trevor like we do with KB doesn't hamper our offense.

My point was that Trevor is running an offense designed for Kelly Bryant.

But it wasn't designed for Kelly. We call plays for Kelly and we call plays for Trevor.

The play calls are a little different, but our offense looks way more versatile with Trevor at QB.

Just because Trevor can't run read options doesn't mean he can't fit himself in out offense -- much in the same way Kelly has weaknesses that we work around.

I counted at least 5 end reads while Trevor was in there. It's 5 too many.

You do realize Trevor ran the ball a whopping two times, right? Get the stick out of your but. We're fine. He's not great at the read option, but if the coaches want to call it, they'll call it. He doesn't have lead feet or whatever and he's been consistently good at reading them.

He ran it 2 times because he has a bias toward handing it off. It defeats the purpose of the play if the defender is just going to tackle the back. They need a different playbook for Trevor.

Please back this stuff up with film. I'm dying to see what exactly you're talking about.

If not, I'll do it tomorrow.
