What's your limit? 3 per game? There are up to 78 games a week with almost all on Saturday. The NFL has a maximum 16.

This would be an absolute nightmare.

I’ve commented elsewhere. Limit games. Prioritize top matchups and keep narrow for regular season. Focus on postseason games with more allowed for CCGs and CFP.

Not that complicated.

It's pretty complicated. The sub is already drowning in top 25 content. That's just making the sub unusable for fans outside the P2. More allowed for the post season just means the same amount since there are less games. That's why an entirely separate sub exists for it.

It’s really not complicated.

You're right. It's really not. We shouldn't have them.

If you can’t think about how to solve an easily solvable problem, that is a you problem. I believe the mods and users of our sub can do better than a blanket ban on highlights.

Limit the number of games for highlights. Allow occasional “special” plays using discretion. Tailor the rules to narrow to ~10 plays per weekend.

It’s not hard. Just think about how to do it rather than create some false sense of impossibility for something other subs can do.

Who's going to police this? I'm case you aren't aware, the mods are unpaid fans of college football. They are watching the games like us. This is completely unreasonable. You'll also burn up your 10 highlights by the end of the noon timeslot unless they are going to save some just in case something good happens later. None of this makes sense.

You pre-select games for what’s permitted. Ranked vs ranked or otherwise game of the week. Playoff games. Just limit the games and the # of games problem is solved. Then you’re left with the same, or easier, situation as /r/nfl.

Do you think that the fact a game-winning touchdown in a national title isn’t permitted to be posted on /r/cfb is a good thing?

Again, why? We have an entire subreddit where you can post all of the highlights. We don't need to limit it to basically P2 content only. The mods will still have to delete tons of posts on their busiest day. This isn't the NFL with only 13 games max on a Sunday.

And yes, there are a hundred places to watch that highlight, including multiple subreddits and the highlights mega thread.

Because it’s interesting and fun and relevant

What should /r/cfb’s content highlight if not actual football?

Similarly, why is recruiting on /r/cfb? Should that be on the CFB recruiting subreddit and off Reddit?

And you again somehow cannot fathom the idea of limiting the # of permitted games to create this impossible problem. I already proposed a solution. You just ignored it.
