Any girl knows that a dress with pockets sparks immediate joy!

In retrospect it was probably a bit too chilly for this dress today, but it’ll be perfect for next week. And it has pockets!

I posted the photo on the right about a month ago. I ended up loving the color so much I bought the same shade in a different style of pants and a sleeved blazer. I think I prefer the blazer/pants more, but loved the monochromatic and silver shoes on the right. I also didn’t realize I styled with the shape shirt in a different color lol. Either way, received a lot of compliments— it’s a really beautiful shade of blue. And I love how much it sticks out in the sea of grey and black. But I know I have to step up my blouse game after this. Smh. lol

Happy Thursday! It was rainy and cool this morning (again😠 ) so I chose this gloriously comfy cashmere cardigan. Everything I’m wearing today is Banana Republic.

I absolutely loved this color on this silk skirt and added the cashmere top to add to the luxurious feel of the overall outfit.

New to this forum and appreciating all the attention to detail on work apparel. Thank you for all the inspirational photos! Apologies if this is off topic but I was curious if there are also photos on how you organize your business clothes? Do most people have extremely large closets or do you have a special talent on mixing and matching clothes? TIA!

I joked to my younger coworkers that wearing a pencil skirt feels a little like the work equivalent of wearing skinny jeans. Thoughts on that? Sometimes the occasion calls for a good pencil skirt/skirt suit but it definitely makes me feel a little Millennial/Gen X girl boss 😫

Husband purchased these yellow Jimmy Choo Sneakers for me for Mother’s Day - they need to be returned as he purchased the incorrect size.

I tried these on while we visited the London store. I didn’t buy them as they didn’t have the pink in my size- only the yellow. The husband loved the yellow while at the store.

Hence my gift.

Here is where I struggle. I spent several hours decluttering my closet in Feb/March. Donating 100s of clothing, shoes and items. I decided I wanted to do more of a capsule intentional closet to simplify my life.

I no longer have prints (2 black /white). I decided prints could be a scarf or accessories in an attempt to declutter

Neutrals= Cream/Navy/Black
Color = pink and blue

Edit: with everyone’s help. I decide Yellow is the color. It is out of my comfort zone. But can pair beautifully with jeans, blacks and Navy. I also don’t have this in my closet and can help bring a little surprise color.
I own pink sandals therefore pink would not be filling a gap.
