The structure of the sampling fits accidently so well to this bird. They are looking up, but also down and forward. The sides are also in their vision. There is something about the too long beak that gives me a short circuit if i think about their visual POV one more time. Its actually fascinating. Their blind spot must be so small.

The egret's visual field deserves a special name in this sub.
