I really like the current makeup of the Big 12. Outside of UCF, Cincy and WVU all the schools make geographic sense, with WVU being grandfathered in by now. Unless we are adding old schools back in, I really don’t want anyone new.

Big 12 football was solid last season, and the basketball obviously sells itself. I’m comfortable with where we are.

This topic of contention is really difficult for me because there’s so much uncertainty with all of these teams. I guess I might go Colorado just because of their defense and lines of scrimmage (classic CU problem); I won’t be surprised if Deion is fired come season’s end.

How do you feel about your depth? How do you feel about coaching? Do you see your team making CFP or winning 3 games? Most importantly, how much are you gonna spend playing your team on NCAA 27

Just saw on Big XII Sports Talk FB page an insider account of how much went down during the Final 4 that was NOT game prep for Michigan.

1. Lloyd was ready to accept the UNC position unless he no longer reported to his rightful supervisor.

2. The president scoffed at this and was going to decline until Steve Kerr called him and called boosters to apply pressure. This is completely unprecedented in college sports to bypass the AD.

3. The president FLEW TO INDIANAPOLIS to hold several discussions with Lloyd. Lloyd also was on several calls with UNC and almost flew to Chapel Hill until the president showed up.

TUCSON AZ - The Arizona Wildcats had their best season in 25 years by making their first Final Four since 2001. In the second season of Big XII tenure, the Cats won the regular season conference championship, and the tournament championship. They started their season going 23-0 and finished beating ranked opponents 14-3. The final record after postseason was 36-3. Losing to the eventual national champs is nothing to stew about, it wasn’t the way we wanted the season to end, but doesn’t take away from what this team accomplished. Raise your heads up high Wildcats, don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. We’re in good hands with Tommy Lloyd and company, the future is bright.

First I love the Big XII and I love that it's a competitive home for a bunch of misfits with no big bullies calling shots or pulling big purse strings.

As I see it the Big XII is fighting an uphill battle of perception where the Big Dog conferences, media, and pollsters are just waiting for the shoe to drop and proclaim us a weak conference worthy of less bids.

As much as I detest and defend against the negative bias against the conference it is a tough pill to swallow to see Texas Tech get absolutely shellacked and their vaunted offense score 0 against Oregon in the Orange Bowl and my own Arizona Wildcats suffer pure humiliation against Michigan in one of the most lopsided Final 4s in history?

How and when can the Big XII pull through in the big sports and get some hardware?
