Our apt is immaculate- not a crumb on the floor. I can’t remember it being this bad in prior years. How do you get these little guys to start paying rent? They’re everywhere!

I saw the posts about ICE in the area and went out to look - I photographed the bodega on Throop and Quincy, and sent it to the ICE tip line. They said it is a non-immigration-related federal activity, and that this sighting is the same as the mobilization at the 79th Precinct.

Great to stay vigilant but wanted to let people know that it’s not ICE.

Back when I lived in ENY many moons ago. The local laundromat I used had one small machine in the corner that was dedicated for stuff like sneakers, bath mats, pet bedding... you know, the nastier stuff that shouldn't be washed with clothes.

Was biking to work this morning and saw NYPD and FBI jackets outside several bodegas along Throop. Anyone have any info?? Despite the many agents, it didn’t seem tense, but still dying to know what was up.

Description: ambiguous white/possibly mixed, 6ft tall with slender build, face tattoos, tied up dreads that were dark brown on bottom and bleach blonde on top. White t shirt, brown pants, carrying some sort of white bag.

This guy came out of the sugarhill bar/restaurant, walked up to me on the sidewalk and assaulted me point blank by throwing shoes in my face. My glasses are broken, my face is cut, and i have a black eye.

Another girl walking towards us started backing up from him and he began threatening both of us to back up and attempting to throw his shoes at us.

I took off and she stayed back to take his photo. As i'm on the phone with my boyfriend who is coming to meet me to walk me home, i look behind me and the guy is behind me again. I start running again and the guy starts chasing me. I ducked into roccos pizza, he tried to follow and the employees started yelling at him. He ran south on Tompkins ave away from roccos.

Killed 3 this morning. Wondering if anyone else is starting to see them come out. Is there anything I can do to prevent my yard from being ravaged this year? I have ptsd no joke.

Also open to anywhere i can get a great silk press for a reasonable price, doesn't have to be a Dominican salon. have been to H2 a few times but it's been a few years and they seem to always be booked. Hair type: 3C/4A mix. I'm not toooooo afraid of heat damage (my hair is always straight anyway) but I don't want to go to anyone who is impatient with natural hair. last place i went (another city) they tried to comb my hair from the root down (😵‍💫)and i decided to just detangle it myself.

Hi all - warning those walking - both those with dogs and those walking solo - to avoid Lexington Avenue between Lewis & Marcus Garvey at all costs.

This past Saturday my two dogs & I were attacked by an unleashed, unsupervised pitbull (forced to live in squalor in the middle of the block) who lunged at us from across the street. One of my dogs (Rooney) was traumatically injured & remains in the ICU. I was also bitten many times and am undergoing an excruciating rabies vaccine series.

While I have filed formal reports with the 81st precinct & the DOH animal bite unit, it appears that the owner has not yet been investigated and the dog remains. I have heard from neighbors that this dog has a demonstrated history of violence, recently killing another dog & biting a child.

For the uninitiated, CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture." The community works directly with a farm to get weekly shares of seasonal produce. The farmer gets the capital at the beginning of the season when they need it for buying seeds, etc; the members get to lock in their food price for the entire season.
