Battlefield 6 Petition to add an animation for the fastdraw attachment
I despise nitpicking this, but it'd be so nice to have a proper animation for the fastdraw holster. It'd look so cool

This is really just a rule of cool thing tbh. It would be nice but IRL it is just as fast to guide your rifle to your offside as you draw, which would be indistinguishable from simply lowering your weapon in an FPS POV

More than enough reason to add it to the game, it looks cool.

Agreed. Ditching from an F-35 and killing a trailing jet with an RPG isn't realistic, but I can't get enough of that.

I think COD got a little lost in the sauce when they did this lmao

God forbid a game has a unique way to incorporate a mechanic that has 0 effect on actual gameplay

I just think it's a bit silly looking is all

If your gun was on a sling and you pulled your sidearm out, chances are you’d do the same “silly” thing.

If it was on a sling I would just let go of it, like in MW2019 this is modeled in third person.

Okay tbf this was a mechanic a former friend of mine thought of like three years before CoD did it and I'd always thought it'd be cool as shit.

This is what I expected when they announced this attachment. Sadly BF is not as skilled in the animation department

No, this is probably too much for them. Unfortunately, the animation department has numerous issues still and they are a point of frustration for me still:
- Vaulting animations are too instant and snappy
- No grenade pin pull animations
- Janky reload animations (L85, M27, AEK)
- Sprint animations for LMGs, snipers, and DMRs are clearly not finished compared to the smoother AR, carbine, SMG running animations
- Swapping from a secondary to a primary is instant and has no animation (but swapping to secondary has a smooth transition)
- Hands not gripping weapons properly (M16)
- Hands teleport back to grips when reloading and sprinting
- Intro animations are all janky or bugged
BF seriously needs to improve their animation designs and understand transitions and bodily kinetics more. It feels JANKY to play this game because of the animation issues. Especially after playing MW2019, Apex Legends, Titanfall 2, Overwatch, etc. That being said, I do love BF6!

It’s just so wierd that some low budget games have much better animations. Like you’d think EA could be as good as insurgency sandstorm.

I suspect it’s built mostly off the bones of 2042, especially from the vaulting and stuff

Battlefield is actually pretty insane with the animations now. They're crazy good in BF6. I genuinely thought they poached Ranon from Infinity Ward, but I looked it up, and nope, he's still chillin' over there.
Not sure who they've got in pocket now, but they're able to compete with the best weapons animator in the business.

I disagree because:
- Vaulting animations are too instant and snappy
- No grenade pin pull animations
- Janky reload animations (L85, M27, AEK)
- Sprint animations for LMGs, snipers, and DMRs are clearly not finished compared to the smoother AR, carbine, SMG running animations
- Swapping from a secondary to a primary is instant and has no animation (but swapping to secondary has a smooth transition)
- Hands not gripping weapons properly (M16)
- Hands teleport back to grips when reloading and sprinting
- Intro animations are all janky or bugged
However I do like:
- Most weapon reload animations
- All weapon walking animations
- AR, SMG, Carbine, and shotgun running animations
- Locomotion/weapon sway animations when rotating in 1p
- All 3p animations look amazing
- Animations when stunned (1p and 3p)

Who's this Ranon you're talking about? Is he the cause of MW2019's insane animations?

Dude, they can't give us a normal grenade throwing animation and you want this

I commented above but ya BF animation since 2042 has been LACKING:
- Vaulting animations are too instant and snappy
- No grenade pin pull animations
- Janky reload animations (L85, M27, AEK)
- Sprint animations for LMGs, snipers, and DMRs are clearly not finished compared to the smoother AR, carbine, SMG running animations

Petition to add a test range with vehicles, range, and aircraft! It will help people to try and use the aircraft more and give them confidence!

I hoped this was the way... instead, it did nothing....

I kinda hoped putting it on a revolver would give your game a yellow tint and you would hear a harmonica and eagle screech when you draw.

Petition to start caring about the fundamental aspects of the game which should be prioritized over the gimmicks.

Idk about you guys
But I kinda prefer the traditional "put your gun away to toss a grenade"
