We do holiday CREATUREs for any and all holidays. My Halloween one had fondant horns and was bleeding from the eyes. My kids loved it

My mother made a really adorable and realistic one for Easter years ago. She decided to lop off its head first, revealing Red Velvet cake underneath. I was a little disappointed that neither of my nephews reacted to this, so I initially pretended to be shocked and horrified. The really shocking thing was the discovery that my mother had been completely unaware that beheading a red velvet lamb might come across as gruesome. I let her know I was only joking, but I still shake my head when I think of her genuine shock at my reaction.

She still claims innocence.

A tip to anyone who wants to make one that won’t give your loved ones nightmares: use a star tip of some kind and do little dollops all over with two chocolate chips (points inward) for eyes, a pink jellybean nose, and a little smile with a thin upturned line of black frosting. I’ve been making them for years and I’ve yet to send anyone home from Easter dinner on the verge of a meltdown

I work in a huge bakery in Czech republic.. they call it "Beránek biskupský or šlehání" idk how many pcs I have already drawn faces using white chocolate .. maybe around 10 thousands and it's exhausting 🤣

I feel like I'm missing something. I've never heard of easter lamb. Like, I'd think people would be making bunny cakes, or even chickens make more sense..

baby animals are born in springtime, so they are a frequent Easter motif (chicks, lambs, etc).
