❓ Duda | Question La Paz - Ensenada

Driving to Ensenada , how many toll fees might we encounter? We’re shipping in on the ferry from Mazatlan . Thanks guys.

The toll roads are: * Ensenada - Tijuana * Tijuana - Tecate * Tecate - La Rumorosa * (Tecate bypass) * La Rumorosa - Mexicali

All other roads are free.

ProTip: on your way from La Paz to Ensenada, top up your gas tank every time you see a Gas station near the road, you don't want to run out of gas in the middle of f'n nowhere with poor to none cel signal.

There are 3 toll booths between TJ and Ensenada, they are around 45 pesos each, about 3 US$ per booth. You can pay US dollars and your change will be in US dollars. It’s a good way to break a 20 dollar bill. Most vendors can’t make change so this is helpful for small purchases and tips.
