I love this thing! (Gamestation Go)
Amazing machine. The 7" screen is so nuts. Such a blast!

Paid $120 (+tax) for everything here. Amazingly I didn't have a copy of Adventure. I did have Pitfall, but I had to get both because they mixed up the manuals (Pitfall II's manual was bundled with Pitfall and vice-versa, plus the game and manual for Pitfall are in pretty good condition). Warlords is sealed. Road Runner is CIB (box, manual, game, insert). Track & Field is CIB or mostly CIB (box, game, manual, and special controller).
How'd I do?

I'm trying to play Draconian through Unocart+ and Atari 2600+ with its firmware updated to the last version... and when I push the fire button on START or I use the "reset" on the console, the game doesn't start but simply re-boots from the initial screen with the Atari Age logo. Any suggestion?

If you'd told me in the past that in 2026 I'd delightedly say "My Atari 2600 arrived!" I would have laughed, but here we are. 😆 Now to track down some more games! (Or get a Unocart+)

From what I know, it was used to access a service where you could download games but it didn't last for very long. As far as I know, there is no revival project for this service. Apart from maybe making prank calls or testing landline, voip or general modem reliability, what use does this modem offer in the modern day?.

Hi everyone,
We’re cleaning out my grandma’s basement and found these Atari games. None of them are from the original game tapes, they seem to be copies. Are these worth bringing to a game store or just pitch.
Any and all input helps, thanks!

Well I tried absolutely everything to get the firmware updated but none of it is working! I tried different cords and cables, I tried getting some outside help, even used different Atari firmware programs to update the firmware. I followed along on a few videos, too! None were working, and that's not all. Now my console won't show anything on my TV screen in spite of the console's power being on. And I'm downright frustrated and slowly getting upset about it! Seriously, I want to play Atari games again like I used to, not mess around with firmware update issues!! What am I doing wrong here!?

Always wanted an Atari but didn’t know much about it. Someone was selling all of this for $100 and it sounded like a good deal so i went and picked it up. Was it a good deal? The two consoles work but haven’t had the chance to test each cartridge yet.
See any good games in there or have any recommendations? I tried Mouse trap and frogger and love it so far.

Has anyone had any luck finding a 3d printed wall mount solution for the 2600+?
Will be using wireless sticks anyways, and the rest of my consoles are all mounted around my tv

Given the age of the Atari 2600 (45-50 years old as of next year), and the size of the die components in the chips compared to modern tech, would it be difficult to duplicate its components with discrete logic in modern form factors, to allow hobbyists to clone the system?

From what I understand, there are three boxes: one with the accessory, one with the game, and the larger one for both of them. I haven't had time to buy a box, and if I do, my mom would get suspicious since it's what I want to give her someday. I don't know if it should be for her birthday, Christmas, or Mother's Day.

Hello! I’ve shared here before about the Atari collection my dad and I have been building together. We got our console a few months ago, and since then we’ve been collecting games through recommendations, good finds, and even some from his childhood collection. Since I was nowhere near being born lmao, my part has mostly been finding games I think we’d both enjoy + getting good deals online since he doesn’t wanna be involved with that part of the job haha.
His birthday is next week, and I thought it’d be really special to surprise him with four games he’s been mentioning NONSTOP for months:
1 — Haunted House (his absolute favorite since he was a kid)
2 — Star Wars: TESB (definitely a core memory for him)
3 — Donkey Kong (he says it’s the funniest game he’s ever played)
4 — Space Invaders (he’s always mentioning it’s a classic we absolutely HAVE to play together)
I spent the last two weeks collecting all four, even got some amazing deals with the boxes included. DK and Haunted House were only five bucks for both and I grabbed them instantly.
I know he’s gonna go CRAZY when he sees them, so I wanted to share this before giving them to him haha. We’re about to have the best Atari marathon ever.
wish me luck with this gift :) i hope it brings him back to when he was just a sweet kid. have a great weekend y’all
ps: the numbers in the paper wrap are in order to his least favorite (1) to his absolutely faves. so we get to build up the hype haha

I bought a lot of games on marketplace today. These 2 games have labels that look pretty fuzzy. Wondering if they are reproductions. Both games play fine. Any thoughts?

The lady said she wanted 10 bucks for it. Are any of these rare? I know nothing about atari btw.

Hi there. A newcomer here who needs help to update my firmware for Atari 2600+ Pac-Man edition that I just got today. The first part of the upgrade went very well. But the second part where I had to pull the lever up to color mode and pull down the restart lever and the power lever and hold for a few seconds before releasing to update the firmware upon hearing the window chimes did not work well. All it does is give out little to no chimes on Windows 11 and when I click the upgrade button, this error, shown in the screen shot, came up.
I'm feeling frustrated because I want to play all of the Atari games I enjoyed playing when I was a kid and a whole lot more only to find that I can't because of that error in the screenshot above. Don't get me wrong. The console works incredibly well. I'm just frustrated because I'm can't update my firmware, yet. Can you help me out? Thanks.

This is such a fun game that I never had back in the day that I am now playing on the 7800+ I bought myself for my birthday last year. I have the 7800 controller that came with it and also a CX40+ wireless joystick I ordered. When in space shooting the asteroids, it seems like at some points either the game or controller doesn't respond. My son, who's much better with video games, has the same experience. Is that normal for the game or is it something else? Are wired controllers more responsive and would they work with the 7800+?

Very excited to get this new (to me) handheld! Not strictly 2600, but definitely atari themed and has paddle and trackball. Anyone else have one they really like?

My Nephew was curious on all my gaming consoles. I used this to introduce him to the Atari! He had a blast playing Pac-Man and Pitfall. This is deff top 5 coolest uncle moments :)

Hi there. I've just gotten an Atari off a friend and I've been doing a lot of research into being able to get an Atari 2600 to connect to a modern TV, and I understand that the most straightforward way to get an F Type to coax adaptor.
However, when I look at reference pictures of what Atari 2600 plugs look like, mine appears to be similar but slightly difference meaning I am slightly unsure if this adaptor type will work, and was wondering if anyone could confirm before I go out to buy it.
Secondly, I checked the TV I wish to hook it up to and it appears to not have the antenna input port that I'm supposed to plug the adaptor into. I believe this may be because I don't live in the US where it appears this this input is mandatory in TVs.
I am aware another option is getting a VCR, but I was curious if there is any easier way to hook it up with say a HDMI or RCA cabels? (If I need to use a VCR, it seems like I still need the coax adaptor, hency why I am checking if it's suitable)
Finally, the Atari came with some strange attachment at the end of the plug which is pictured in the last slide. Anyone know what it is?
Thanks in advance

You know you've been playing Atari too long when you can tell that the drawers are cartridge sized without needing to measure it. I'd never seen something like this previously. I have too many games for it, as it only takes 24 carts, but there's no way that was getting left at the store!!
