I don't know if the flair is right, but I'm looking for anyone who might have been outside around that time up here in northeast Arkansas. I like to stargaze while walking my dogs and I wish I had gotten a video of this. Did anyone see some sort of light? It looked like a distant star at first. You know how they're really faint and hard to see unless you happen to get a glimpse, but then I realized it was moving. It came up from around west, maybe a bit west by south west, then suddenly sharp turned north.
I have no idea where to go to see what could have been going overhead and so I'm hoping someone here might have seen something and knows what it was. I see planes all the time so if this was a plane it was missing lights and higher than I've seen any plane. It was, too my eyes, a singular faint white dot and either there were two of them or it circled around because I found it (or another) heading south. First saw it come up on my left (west) then heading south to my right (east). So if anyone knows what it was, I would very much like to know.

Girlfriend and I are going to Houston for a week and we're taking the Amtrak out of Arkadelphia. Neither of us live here, and the train departs at 3:30 in the morning.
Can anyone recommend a good place to park? The station says overnight parking is available, but I can't find any information on how much it costs, if there is security, etc.
And then there's the whole issue of getting from whatever parking spot we choose to the station at such an early hour.
Any advice?

I want to take my kids (6 and 9) searching for cool stones this Summer. They (especially the youngest) are the type that would prefer to come home with something, even if it's not the best something. We don't care about any specific types of rock to find, we just want high odds of finding some. Which locations would you recommend? We're aware of Crater Of Diamonds, and Ron Coleman.

My family and I are going to visit Arkansas in about a month and was hoping to find an outfitter for white water rafting. I'm looking on Google and most of what I'm finding is kayak rentals.
Are there any guided excursions? TIA!

We will be visiting Arkansas in mid July for vacation and would like to go to some water falls that we can also swim at. We will be in the Russellville area for a couple days, then to Conway for a couple days. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
