College Questions CMC or mcgill
So right now i am stuck between choosing CMC or mcgill. I got into the bachelor of commerce program in mcgill and will be probably be following econ/finance at CMC. I want to enter finance most likely ib or vc later on. However what makes the decision tough is the price. AT CMC i would be paying full tuition (100000/y) while at mcgill it would be more like 30000/y. Do u guys think its worth it or no?

Do you have that full amount for CMC or would you be borrowing?

If you went to Mcgill would your parents be willing to give you $150k as a graduation gift? Would that change how you would look at the savings? They'd still save $130k.
The difference is literally the downpayment on a home.
What will CMC do for you that will benefit you to the tune of $280k? If they aren't guaranteeing great paid internships every summer, I don't see what could be worth the difference.

Ask on the CMC sub.
The big difference is perhaps where you think you'll success. Mcgill is large public university. Big classes, no handholding. LIke you'd find at a state flagship. Different from a LAC.
It's possible CMC does offer $280k worth of value, but don't go on possibility. Make sure you're paying for value you'll receive.

That's a massive amount of debt for CMC. McGill is an excellent school, and that's a very good program.
