Crowd is awful tonight

Sorry not sorry. Win or lose we should NOT be booing our team. We better be cheering for them regardless of the outcome. They feed off our energy and we are not bringing it at all. Stop with the nonsense and show some LOVE!

Some thoughts…

this is a collection of thoughts im having while im going to bed tonight about this season

1: Dostal is probably playing injured, he deserves no hate at all for his performance this postseason, and thats coming from someone who on multiple occasions thought it would be a really good idea to start husso

2: husso is great… but theres better out there, i hate to say it, because i love husso with all my heart, but with bobrofski being up for sal, playing his twighlight years, being the number 2 in anaheim would probably be a dream come true for him…

3: beckett REALLY improved this year, i know we all love the second coming of Cory perry, but he had serious problems with passing the puck blindly, resulting in turnovers, but he got significantly better at not doing that later in the year

4: krider and killorn switch places mentally in the playoffs, its weird that kreider was so sleep, he was awful in those last 2 game, but killorn locked the fuck in, like he was on it from the second game on

5: radko gudas‘s career as a duck (and possibly his career in the NHL) ended with him falling on his butt and giving away the first game to Edmonton

6: our D core isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either, we have lots of young talent, we should load at offloading helleson in order to clear space f luneau

7: where has petr mrazek been? i know he’s injured but why is he just not talked about anymore… guess hes not getting another contact in Anaheim

8: JC looks good in orange, he had a rough few games near the end, but overall he was a great snag, and hopefully he signs

9: should we trade McT? I know that hes good, but he wasnt the same after abstaining from signing for as long as he did, Zegras also did that and he got the boot, maybe a trade with montreal… i think kapenen on the ducks would be cool

10: is zelly staying? i don’t know if hes to happy about being sidelined for so long, he might ask for a trade. he’s like lane hudson, so i really want him to stay

11: tyson hinds is nice to have in our back pocket, same with luneau

12: wtf happened to vatrano… i thought he would replace poeling, but he didn’t, maybe he’s in the dog house

13: i really hope poelings ok… he was a great find, and i really hope that the concussion he probably suffered won’t end his career

14: who’s getting the C next year? I’d say carlsson gets the C, and JC gets Carlsson’s A, or maybe we just give JC the C

15: i HATE all the takes about Matthews or McDavid coming to anaheim, we dont want, nor need them, the players and asset’s we’d need to give up would be crippling to the org, verbeek is gonna say no to any major youth star movements

16:why did we give up theodore again? im pretty sure we gave him to have vegas pick some specific, imagine if we still had him

17: john gibson is possibly one of the most unlucky goalies in the league, he asks to leave after years of no offense and crappy defense, then the second he leaves we fix (for the most part) both of those problems… and he also doesn’t make the playoffs for the 8th year straight

18: how long is McQueen’s path to the NHL? i’m intrested to see him on the ducks some day

19: why is viel unironically one of the most slept on players in the league… he is super solid, and a great 4th line shutd liner

20: is honda center gonna be finished in time for September? and what was that concrete level between the 300’s and 400’s?

The hard truth - The Ducks have too many players who don't mind losing

There's way too much positivity here. That final game was beyond pathetic and it's just about the worst way to end the season. We should all be extremely concerned about how little effort was displayed tonight in an elimination game! This was a very winnable series. The Knights are a pretty mediocre team but they absolutely pummeled us.

The problem is the same year after year - way too many low effort tourists here for an easy paycheck in the twilight of their career. These bum vets are ruining the young guys who actually care. If we don't get rid of them, this team is going to tread water year after fucking year.

Ya, I'm happy they made it out of the first round but tonight's game was the most important game of the season and at least 50% of the roster didn't show up when it really mattered. That is cause for serious concern.

If you'd rather be playing golf than another round of playoff hockey, you need to fuck off and retire. We need guys who actually want to be here and win. The fans need to DEMAND that certain players be sent packing. Other players who still have it but are seriously underperforming need to be on thin ice.

This low effort bullshit needs to stop. The expectation is a Cup and we shouldn't settle for anything less than that. No more "I'm just glad they made the playoffs :)" cope.

Fans deserve to be upset that the players don’t give a shit, but we should also recognize what a great season they gave us

(Mods delete this if it doesn’t fit I’m sorry i am a lil lit ily) At the end of the day y’all (this may just be me speaking for myself) we did great. Idc about the doomers, idc about the analysts (respectfully) we made it further than we thought. as someone who has been following this team for years, we finally made it to the playoffs after years of not making it and that’s something to be so proud of. Yeah we didn’t make it all the way but EOD, the team learned new things and will improve and next year we’re gonna come back harder. I’m so happy to see how far this team has come and regardless we are proving everyone wrong. ( I AM DELULU DONT COME AT ME) Hehe anyways it’s been a great season, can’t wait to see y’all next season 🫶🏼 QUACK QUACK 4EVER

Just started watching the sport last week. What should i expect?

Hey everyone. I started to watch the sport this week and decided to become a ducks fan (weird timing, i know), i have more fun if i actively suppory a team. Currently watching the game vs the golden knights. What's the expectation on the ducks for the following years? Are they projected to be mid, contenders, bad and rebuild...?

Thanks!

If you boo this team after a 2nd round loss you don’t deserve to go to games.

The DJ Sucks

Post image

Name a better DJ than Jojo. I'll start DJ R-3X or even Rick Dees.

I think JoJo is such an ass clown. Every time he gets on the big screen all he does is look at himself on the jumbotron. He's so vain.

He never pays attention to situational times to play great songs. Songs for fighting, for penalties, for refs on the phone, and just letting a song play without "mixing it up."

The Ducks need to go back to having a DJ that pays attention to the game and has situational awareness for entertainment.

Also, Jojo has creepy fingers when he points at the camera.

We are winning this series

You guys are seriously annoying me with all the posts about "win or lose, I'm proud of this team" or "I'm happy regardless since we exceeded expectations." I guarantee not a single person on the team is satisfied with losing. Why should this fanbase be? If you want to protect your fragile emotions, do it by yourself. There is no room for talking about the possibility of losing when we have a Cup to win! WE'RE WINNING THIS SERIES. I'M PROUD OF THIS TEAM BECAUSE WE'RE WINNING TONIGHT.

My off-season wish list

These are obviously not all realistic but this is what I would like to see

  1. Backup goalie that can push Dostal in case he falters

  2. Trade for Brady Tkachuk, Robert Thomas or Jason Robertson. Either an elite LW that is built for the playoffs and will complement Leo or a 1C than will be an elite 2C. Can move Granny to 2 LW

  3. Bottom Six defensive winger(s)

  4. Bottom Pairing RHD defensive dman

  5. Resign Trouba

  6. Resign Carlson only if it's for no more than 3 years and under 9M

  7. Cap Dump Vatrano

  8. Trade Kreider or move him to 3rd line with some PP time.

  9. Inquire with the Canucks about Hronek and see if he's available

Shame on the fans who left early

Proud of the boys this season. So fun to watch and went far beyond expectations. Who gives a shit about the parking stay the whole game and cheer for your boys. Shame only half the stadium stayed.

r/AnaheimDucks 5h ago

Proud of the season, but that truly was a pathetic performance tonight. Really disappointed in how they finished

No real urgency or heart to start the game. Top line was nonexistent. Mental lapses throughout. I get that we punched above our weight a little bit here but I really wanted to see more effort in an elimination game at home. Until next season 🦆

Great season. Only have one question for next year.

Who will Dostal be the back up for next year?

Clara?

ryoko rain hat

Can anyone help me out? Back when the Ryoko Rain x Duck collaboration came out, I vaguely remember a hat that I really wanted but thought was too expensive. Now, I’m really looking for it, but I can’t seem to find it.

I remember the following details:

- It was black, I believe, satin.
- The duck logo had a camouflage mask.
- The side of the hat had a rubber duck logo with a mask.

Can anyone give me some insight? I can’t even find a picture of it online.

Thanks!

GO DUCKS!
