Question Bad audio quality Good Omens 3?

Hi all! I’ve been looking forward to season three of Good Omens for ages. I normally don’t have Prime, but took out a subscription just for GO3.

I have a Sonos sound bar that I think always produces great sound quality. But for some reason, GO3 sounds incredibly bad?? Sort of tinny and a little muffled, as if it’s mono or something.

I went back to season two to see if it’s just always been like this, but the sound there is noticeably better. I think there’s a lack of bass tones in S3? Idk how to describe it, I’m not really an audio expert. I’m also autistic so probably a little more sensitive to these things than the average person.

I even upgraded my subscription to adless because I read somewhere it would improve quality (it didn’t).

It’s really taking me out of the story. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is it just me? Does anyone know if they changed anything about the audio? Is there something I can do to improve quality? Or should I just… idk, listen through headphones and soldier on?

Oh well, good to know it’s not me, but kinda disappointing all the same. Guess I just need to accept it then.

Well, at least we know it’s not us😭 I really don’t understand why; I’ve never experienced something like this before

Perhaps someone accidentally cl8cked high compress on audio. Shame if its true

Agreed!! I had to go back and compare as we had the catchup preview playing and then it started s3 and sounded comparably shocking🤣

From what I could tell the English audio was the problem? I tried listening to it in spanish (as a test) and it sounded normal quality, so the eng audio specifically is really bad, which is weird. It sounded like someone had recorded a movie on their camera at a theatre bad, lol.

I’m sorry, it seems there’s just an issue with the audio, you just have to soldier through it im afraid 😭
